After 13 years, I've made the bittersweet decision to wrap up my design studio.
Huge thanks to all of the wonderful people and organisations that I've had the pleasure of working with, and that have enabled me to keep my work going for well over a decade. 🙏💚🌏
@andypbray @reallianceaus Thanks, Andrew! It has been an absolute pleasure working with you over the years, all the way back to when you were with 100% Renewable, through to the various iterations of @reallianceaus.
By the way, congratulations on all the recognition you’ve been getting for your work!
Here's to a more equitable, sustainable, and compassionate future.
Cheers,
Jarren Nylund, Principal Designer/Creative Director

After 13 years, I've made the bittersweet decision to wrap up the studio. Bitter in the way that it's sad to call an end my design work for such amazing causes.

We're calling GE out for greenwashing with an ad in the New York Times! GE is spinning off its power business and claiming it's clean even though GE is involved in close to 25GW of new polluting LNG (liquefied natural gas) power.
An advertisement I designed for @Market_Forces, calling out General Electric (GE) for #greenwashing its fossil gas expansion, is appearing in today's New York Times.

I just wrote a piece about the #ClimateChange merchandise I designed for the AYCC back in 2011.
The “I’m not as smart as a climate scientist, but I’m smart enough to listen to them” design ended up being gifted to Tony Abbott in jest.

In 2016, I was given the opportunity to design Amnesty International Australia’s “Defending Lives” booklet. It outlined the values and vision of the organisation for the following four years.

In loving memory of Senior Lecturer Donald Welch (@QCAGriffith), who sadly passed away earlier this year, I'm sharing the story of the rail network map I designed, and subsequent report I wrote, under his supervision two decades ago.

I created this "Ally" design to show my support for gender and sexual diversity, and the LGBTIQA+ community. Perfect for #WearItPurple Day coming up on 26 August 2022. 🌈😊🏳️🌈

I truly believe in the power of t-shirts in creating change.
After designing campaign materials for social movements for over a decade, I've accumulated quite a few t-shirt designs. And I have just made a selection of them available on my store: https://t.co/FQS0ZnG90W
