Dear friends, my heart is so full today. I am thrilled to announce that we are officially opening the doors to DATALAND on June 20th! 🏛️✨
Building the world’s first Museum of AI Arts at The Grand LA has been the journey of a lifetime for me, Efsun and our studio.
We cannot wait to welcome you all to step inside these immersive, nature-inspired data worlds and experience the true creative potential of human and machine collaboration.
Thank you for believing in this vision and dreaming with us.
See you in Los Angeles on June 20th! 🌍🕊️🤖
Big auction houses like Christie’s and Sotheby’s were ultimately unsuccessful with NFTs, in my view, for a simple reason: they tried to replicate crypto-native marketplace dynamics instead of leaning into what they do best
They approached NFTs too much like open, always-on platforms, rather than using their real strengths: institutional credibility, curation, reach, and the ability to concentrate global attention into short, decisive moments
It’s also important to contextualize this. The last three years have been brutal across all art and collectibles. Any new category introduced during this period would have faced serious headwinds
Auction houses excel at aggregating attention. They bring the best objects together during narrow windows of time, with pre-qualified buyers, guarantees, and narrative alignment. They are not discovery engines or infinite catalogs. They are curators of the most desirable available works. That is their real edge
One last thought. In crypto and web3, we’re used to instant scale or rapid failure. Christie’s and Sotheby’s took decades to become what they are today. I’m convinced the same will be true here. Not one, but multiple platforms in this ecosystem will eventually grow into institutions that dwarf anything comparable today
This moment will reshape the digital art ecosystem. Curious to hear your predictions on what this means moving forward. What shifts do you expect? What will we see more of, less of, or disappear entirely?
I’ll share my thoughts shortly
Art Basel Miami’s Zero 10 has brought a feeling of pure joy. Not only because it’s happening, but because of the response around it, the excitement, the openness, the momentum. You can sense the shift across the entire ecosystem
I want to take a moment to celebrate @eli_schein . His curation is bold, diverse, rigorous and beautifully executed. It reflects a real understanding of the medium and the community behind it. A moment of this magnitude requires someone who believes completely and delivers exceptionally
And of course, applause to all the artists who are exhibiting, and also to those who aren’t but helped build the foundations for this moment. The gallerists, advisors, producers and all the people around them also deserve real recognition. Their support, risk-taking and commitment have helped shape this movement into what it is today
For nearly a decade, @DesireeCasoni and I have lived with the conviction that digital art belonged on the world’s biggest stages. We turned our home into a space where anyone could experience it. We commissioned public works that shaped the conversation, from @refikanadol’s Machine Hallucinations: Coral during Art Week 2021, to projects with @newrafael , @quayola , @beeple@soficrespo91 , @reisingerandres and many others. Little by little, we have tried to push this movement forward with intention and care. Seeing a moment like Zero-10, and witnessing how the audience is receiving it, feels deeply rewarding
Today I feel joy, fulfillment, conviction about what lies ahead and a sense that every effort, conversation and belief over the years has been worth it. Whether you’re an artist, a collector or simply someone who cares about this space, this is a moment to celebrate. This is a turning point
I also want to acknowledge @sarafitzmaurice . For five years, she and I have been imagining, debating, refining and advocating for a moment like this. She has guided the conversation at the highest levels, shaped the vision behind the scenes and championed digital art with a consistency and conviction that moved institutions forward. Her leadership, strategic insight and ability to bring people together were essential for Zero-10 to exist. This moment simply would not have happened without her
And finally, kudos to @ArtBasel . Zero-10 shows exactly why you are the reference
Dear friends, I’m deeply honored to announce the recipient of the 2025 TIME100 AI Impact Awards. It is an honor to join esteemed people, my mentors, and my heroes. I do hope AI will bring joy, inspiration, and hope to humanity, and we at RAS and DATALAND will be working very hard for ethical and nature-friendly AI systems and experiences. Thank you!
Thrilled to add 'Facetune Portraits: Universal Beauty' by @gretchenandrew to the #RFCCollection —acquired this week from @tender_art at Untitled
This series explores how AI-driven beauty filters homogenize global standards, erasing diversity in pursuit of a monocultural ideal. By exposing the messy, algorithmic process behind these seamless transformations, Gretchen highlights the absurdity and tension of our co-existence with digital 'perfection.'
What’s remarkable is how this work uses cutting-edge technology to 'print' the oil painting, blending AI-driven creation with a traditional medium. The texture and physical presence of oil on canvas bring a humanity and tangibility to the work that digital alone simply cannot match
This work reflects the tension between reality and desire, capturing both the scars of this pursuit for uniform beauty and the individuality that algorithms erase
This piece is visually striking and deeply thought-provoking, bridging the digital and physical in a way that redefines both. Huge kudos to @tender_art for showcasing such groundbreaking art. The highlight of the week for sure! Now proudly in our home 🙌
Lots of chatter in CT about @refikanadol ‘s Winds of Yawanawa, but yesterday a thoughtful connoisseur made a move that deserves serious recognition. They swept a collection that I believe is often overlooked but holds unparalleled importance: Unsupervised — Machine Hallucinations — MoMA Dreams
As Refik’s biggest patron, I see this collection as the most significant of his career. Refik’s @MuseumModernArt exhibition was a monumental milestone—not just for him, but for digital art as a whole. With almost 3 million people experiencing it live and tens of millions engaging with it globally, it became the single greatest catalyst for bringing digital art to the wider world
This exhibition redefined how institutions and the public perceive digital art, marking a pivotal moment in its history. For the true connoisseur—and for myself—a full set from this release represents the ultimate goal, and likely an impossible one now
Congratulations to the buyer—you’ve acquired a collection that is not only special, but a true marker of the digital art revolution
SO PUMPED for our the opening of our exhibition at the Gibbes Museum of Art here in Charleston this week!!
we'll be showing a number of new works never seen in the united states!! 🤘
The lamp from Bokeh by @mpkoz just arrived, and it’s absolutely incredible. This collection beautifully redefines how generative art can step beyond the digital and seamlessly integrate into the physical world
With its interplay of light, form, and algorithmic precision, this piece transcends being a lamp—it’s a living sculpture, a true statement of art and technology combined. Seeing generative art translated into something tangible and functional like this is truly inspiring
Huge credit to Michael and the @artblocks_io team for creating something so unique. This is innovation meeting elegance, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have it as part of my collection
A true highlight of 2024. Bravo! #RFCCollection

Desi and I are beyond excited to announce that we’re chairing the Miami Children's Museum’s 2025 Be A Kid Again Gala, an endeavor close to our hearts. The museum has become a treasured place for our family, and we are dedicated to supporting its mission to inspire every child with the gift of learning through play, creativity, and culture. Our goal goes beyond making this event memorable—we aim to transform it into an experience that truly resonates with our belief in the power of digital art as a bridge to education.
Every dollar raised from this event will directly support @MiChiMu ‘s educational programs, which provide free admission, scholarships, and specialized programming for underserved and special-needs communities. Our vision for this gala is far beyond a single night; it’s creating lasting, transformative experiences that empower children of all backgrounds. We want to ensure these children continue to receive the life skills, creativity, and confidence they need to build a bright future.
The Miami Children’s Museum serves as a hub of transformative programs that make learning accessible and enjoyable for every child. With over 17 interactive galleries, arts-based educational programming, partnerships with local schools, the museum reaches children across South Florida. This museum brings learning to life and is a cornerstone for children to grow, explore, and discover.
As digital art enthusiasts, Desi and I are especially excited to introduce a digital art component to the gala and future exhibitions at the museum. We believe digital art offers a vital form of expression for today’s generation, inspiring children to think beyond traditional boundaries and explore the vast possibilities of creativity in a digital world. By integrating this perspective into the museum’s mission, we hope to open new doors of imagination for young minds and show them the endless potential that awaits.
This Thursday, we’re thrilled to kick off this mission with an inspiring event at our residence, setting the stage to showcase the transformative impact our digital and crypto community can bring to children and the world. With the generous support of visionary artists like @beeple , @refikanadol , @tylerxhobbs , and others; as well various platforms, and most importantly individuals like @redbeardnft , @AllanCassis , and many more, we’re rallying a powerful force for good. If you’re inspired to join us in this effort, we warmly invite you to reach out and be part of this collective mission.
To make supporting this initiative seamless, we’ve established dedicated wallets for tax-deductible contributions, and we’re happy to recognize your support publicly or respect your preference for privacy.

We warmly invite our friends, supporters, and everyone who believes in the power of creativity and education to join us in this mission. Whether through donations, sponsorship, or attending the event, every contribution is a step toward a brighter, more inclusive future. Together, let’s make this gala a landmark for creativity, inclusivity, and education in our community.
I’ve been blessed with a life that feels as close to perfect as I could ever dream: a wife who is the embodiment of strength, grace, and beauty—someone who elevates me every single day. Together, we’ve built a family with our incredible daughters. With good health, deep friendships with people I admire, and financial freedom, I truly couldn’t ask for more
Still, I feel a responsibility to speak up when I see things in CT that I believe are damaging to the space, even if it’s not always popular
While some people dislike me for pointing out what I see as net negatives, if it makes even one person reconsider and avoid a mistake I’ve made or observed, it’s 100% worth it. I’ve been wrong plenty of times—more than I’ve been right—but staying quiet isn’t my style
It would be much easier to pump my bags and live in the comfortable echo chamber of constant optimism, but my integrity won’t allow it. You can’t buy me, and you won’t break me. I don’t give anyone the power to offend me because my belief in owning my choices and being authentic is stronger than any attempt to challenge that
At the end of the day, I’m at peace knowing that I’ve done what I can to improve this space, no matter what anyone else thinks
Who makes the best immersive and participatory physical installations in the digital art world? Especially interested if it’s something you’d travel to see for a ticketed experience
I have something in mind, but want to expand my horizon before making a decision 🔍
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of owning more than 15 of @XCOPYART ‘s legendary Rabbles, gradually sharing most with friends and family
Now, I’m down to just one—‘King Rabble,’ the true standout of the collection. It’s the piece that embodies everything special about XCOPY’s work
I’ve turned down some significant offers for it, but who doesn’t want to be king? Perhaps for the right proposal, this unique piece might find a new ruler
Today is a major day for the digital arts
Loic Gouzer made history as mastermind of the Da Vinci ‘Salvador Mundi’ auction, which closed at $450m
Now he’s further shaken up the art world with his new auction platform, @FairWarningArt
2-4x monthly, *one* rare and highly prized artwork is chosen to be auctioned to a select group of trad art collectors. A true ‘who’s who’, of which many are household names.
All trust the taste making of Loic, awaiting eagerly to see what works make the prestigious Fair Warning auction block
Next Thursday, a seminal work of the digital art movement lands on the platform - Autoglyph # 30
This auction is extra-special, because Autoglyph # 30 was consigned directly by Larva Labs, who chose to do this with Fair Warning to give all proceeds to support Oceana - a nonprofit working to protect our oceans from pollution.
Collectors, gets ready…
This is your opportunity to scoop an Autoglyph directly from the hands of Larva Labs, with the provenance of Fair Warning
While also helping clean up our oceans.
You can download the Fair Warning on the App Store.
But as the platform is invite-only, you will need to approval to bid on the work.
Serious bidders may DM @kdean your email address, and he can pass it along to the Fair Warning team.
The auction will take place on September 26, 2024 at 5 PM ET. Estimate $150-200k
