We are sad to report the passing of Phil Drucker, co-founder of Savage Republic and 17 Pygmies who leaves behind an amazing legacy of music. As a professor of Constitutional Law, he was a beloved mentor. RIP Phil, your music and spirit live on! @IndependentIPR

@desolationcent I may have missed those shows but caught Sonic Youth & Savage Republic in SF as well as an amazing SRL/Neubauten show. My wife lit Blixa’s cigarette for him! We avoided dehydration but I’m pretty sure we both have a little permanent hearing damage 👂💥🖤
