Coaches to continue in Sophia gardens then. Min 20 min walk from train/bus station with luggage. None of this makes sense from a tourism or active travel perspective. The whole fiasco has clearly been about freeing up the old bus station land for commercial property development💰
How have we managed to create a bus and coach interchange that cannot accommodate coaches and seems what we have previously been told of a nearby coach station is bunkum. Sophia gardens forever and embedding car use to it, it is then.

Absolutely incredible how awful that new ‘canal quarter’ looks. Huge ugly concrete slabs, plexi glass…legitimately looks like an industrial sewage treatment centre. Same architect as central square? Dystopian city
@ceritheviking Sure it was pitched repeatedly as a European style regen idea. Looks like a big drain. Total waste of money, indicative of councils warped priorities as well as inability to do anything well

Conservative MS Darren Millar, with support from Labour's Alun Davies and Hefin David, has tabled an amendment to the Plaid Gaza motion, calling for a "suspension of hostilities" instead of a ceasefire. Debate is on Wednesday
