PLEASE READ: I am creating a directory of safe spaces for women across the US. The Ladies Safety Network is a list of women’s firearms and self defense instructors, shelters and support groups, and more.

As a female firearms instructor, I have heard over and over from my female clients that they generally feel more comfortable training with other women. Women who share similar experiences, struggles and challenges can offer valuable insight that is specific to the female perspective, as well as foster a sense of community and belonging.
