@UMich boasts to donors about the number of first generation students that attend but do nothing to set them up for success after graduation. Maybe some of my wealthier peers can wait on their transcripts for a month after graduation, but some of us can't. I lost a job over this.
Congress gets free healthcare for life, a pension when they retire, and $79 A DAY for lunch... that’s all BEFORE their $175,000 a year salary.
The system is a joke and tax payers are the punchline.
I did everything on my end to get my limited license set in place. (Which, none of my classes or any of the faculty ever explained how to do...lucky I'm first generation student which means I'm an expert at figuring it out). All I need is my transcripts.
Don't buy into the SSW program at @UMich. Worked tirelessly for a year and a half, just to learn that my degree will not be awarded on my transcript until the end of May. A full month after graduation. This lost me the job I had lined up.
