You can now liquid stake your $HYPE with ValiDAO through our staking UI.
Liquid staking your HYPE with ValiDAO through @stakedhype earns you points, convertible to VDO at the conclusion of our incentive program on April 1st.
As a reminder, we're allocating 15% of the total supply of VDO to Hyperliquid stakers - liquid and native stakers alike.
Liquid stake your life in the here and now: https://t.co/YcQCVz8N2t
Currently you can buy a top 4 $HYPE validator (other than team validators) and it is sitting at $8m mcap, which earns you a stake in the validator and it's revenue
Hype is just one of many chains they operate on
...and it lists on hype soon
Have held my $VDO for more than a year and I can't wait for it to get its flowers because it is literally free
As we prepare for upcoming tokenomic changes, including launch on the HL spot market, we’ve turned off trading fees on $VDO.
Over the past year, ValiDAO has grown from 0 into the largest community-owned, multi-chain validator in the industry. With zero outside funding, taxes have served us well, but our new chapter starts today.
Happy Boston VDO party!
Stake with ValiDAO to earn points that convert to our $VDO token—soon bridgeable to Hyperliquid (HIP‑1) for spot trading.
The people’s validator for the people’s chain
Why are we allocating such a large portion of the $VDO token supply to HYPE stakers with ValiDAO?
In the words of El Jefe:
Because when you see a 100x, you go all-in to make it happen.
We’re putting a significant chunk of our supply on the line because we’re convinced about Hyperliquid’s potential and want to help secure the network. Attracting stake is crucial to that goal.
Just like Hyperliquid, ValiDAO is entirely grassroots and community-owned. In just over a year, we have scaled our TVL from $0-$150m. This incentive program lets us distribute $VDO ownership to the early Hyperliquid bullievers, and we couldn’t ask for a better match.
So stake with ValiDAO, own a piece of your validator, and join us on this ride. We’d love to have you on our team.
Yours truly,
ValiDAO
$VDO is a top 50 coin by end of cycle and everytime it gets some love I am overjoyed. The team is great, the concept is great, it deserves infinitely higher than this
Decentralized validating is a core issue, in that, it doesnt actually happen often, but also a core belief of crypto with most thinking it's a necessity. Vitalik himself has even written a medium on the issue
Top tier team with constant outreach to new chains - got on the hype train long before CT
As alt season ramps up and utility coins start ripping validao benefits and increases the revenue it is earning through its assets under delegation
When you start a project that requires upstart capital that you can't forego, you've historically had three options:
- Have the money and fund it yourself
- Seek funding - directly sell ownership in exchange for $$
- Take a loan
In crypto there's also a fourth option:
- Launch your token with trading fees (taxes)
Taxes today have a bad rep due to the indirect 'rugging' they've enabled: promise a lot, lead investors on, and abandon the project without delivering.
We went this fourth route: launch a token at near 0 valuation, present the idea to the public, and allow anyone to buy a stake of the enterprise. In your purchase, pay a small fee which goes towards scaling the idea by funding infrastructure costs and other expenses.
Where has that money gone:
- Incorporating our foundation and related entities
- Paying hosting and infrastructure costs
- Purchasing stake necessary to enter the active sets of various chains
- Salaries for employees (SREs & more)
We've never held more than $200k in runway in our treasury, and have spent ~$400k buying back our token, offsetting some of the impact of taxes.
Everything about @validaoxyz is grass-roots. The dozens of core contributors today bought their tokens at various levels of valuations and are large stakeholders. Their fees and speculatoors' fees have helped us pay for everything we do today.
We are currently hosting ~40 bare metal servers around the world for various needs. Many of these in Iceland which is expensive. This inclues:
- validator nodes
- remote signers
- RPCs
- IBC relayers (we are the #1 IBC relayer)
- DA nodes
- alerting and monitoring infrastructure
These things have costs that need paying
The alternative would have been to seek outside capital. However the goal of ValiDAO was exactly to be the people's validator. Attract people who see the vision, allow them to buy into the enterprise at the valuation they see fit, contribute their skills where possible, and share in the upside, together.
With all that said: today @validaoxyz is in a good place revenue-wise and will be in a position to comfortably turn them off, soon.
$POKT looks bottomed out.
Support is holding, and the market structure has turned bullish.
We also had a small deviation, suggesting this might be the higher low on the HTF. If confirmed, we should see much higher levels for the next high🤞!
@POKTnetwork looks like a great pick for #DePin season!
