Every hour you’re allowed to be there— watch over everything like you are doing the biggest test of your life. Take turns with other family members if you need to.

Every medicine, every health professional who walks in the room, any symptom your loved one experiences.

Be present. Speak up. Ask questions.

Don’t give a ___ if any unprofessional staff member tries to make you feel like you shouldn’t be there or dismisses you. The health of your loved one is too important.

Be perfectly polite and cordial but make it clear that you demand the highest standards and attentiveness.

As a doctor who has worked in dozens of hospitals in the USA and Europe— trust me when I tell you this could save your loved one’s life one day.

Be a supportive ROCK advocate at the bedside.

They’re scared of what happens when non-citizens can no longer vote.

Lee went straight at them:
“Perhaps some of those opposed to this might be afraid of what happens if they can’t rely on non-citizen votes!”

“WHAT’S THE HOLD UP? It’s CERTAINLY not the American voter.”

75 to 85 percent of the country — Democrats and Republicans — already agrees: prove you’re a citizen, show ID, or you don’t vote.

The only place that simple rule is treated like poison is inside the Senate… among Democrats.

Everywhere else in America this is common sense.
In that chamber it’s a threat.

I’m tired of getting 6 episodes, finally getting invested, then being told to come back in 3 to 5 years for the next season. By then I’ve forgotten half the plot and everyone looks 10 years older.
