I have said this before, and I believe it is important to remind Nigerians of my position as we approach 2027.

Peter Obi has my support for the presidency.

But my position is clear, I am not supporting the idea of Peter Obi becoming somebody else’s Vice President.

The day Peter Obi accepts a Vice Presidential position, I will walk away from his corner. I have said this plainly, and I stand by it.

My concern is not about personalities. It is about the kind of leadership Nigeria needs and the direction in which we want our country to go.

I have also argued that we should begin to rethink the age of those seeking executive office. The Nigerian presidency should not become a retirement home for politicians.

I believe there should be a serious national conversation about limiting presidential and gubernatorial candidates to those aged 70 or below.

Nigeria needs leadership that is focused on the future, not simply another cycle of political succession.

These are principles I have stated publicly, and Nigerians should judge them for themselves.

This is 55.

Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers.

As I celebrate another year of God's abiding grace, I have one birthday request.

If you can, please stop by a hospital, today or any day, and donate a pint of blood.

There are many misconceptions about blood donation. The reality is that, for most healthy people, donating blood is safe and can even have health benefits.

Popular Myths

Myth: Donating blood makes you permanently weak or sick.

Fact: Your body is remarkably efficient at replacing what you donate. Blood volume is usually restored within 24 to 48 hours, while red blood cells are replenished over the following weeks.

Myth: You are too old to donate blood.

Fact: While there is a minimum age requirement, there is generally no upper age limit. If you are in good health and meet the medical requirements, you can still donate.

One pint of blood can save multiple lives.

If you are able, please consider becoming a voluntary blood donor.

Thank you.

Senator Remi Tinubu should first set up Corn, Akara and Kuli Kuli business for some members of her family and the APC women leaders.

It will encourage other Nigerians to venture into the same business.

Since she believes that with such ventures, one can make enough money to feed, pay house rent, pay school fees and solve other basic needs.

A family where the husband and wife are wicked and greedy shouldnt be allowed close to the presidency of a country.

Bola Tinubu and Remi Tinubu are very vicious and extremely dangerous.

The unborn generation of Nigerians will not forgive the present generation for allowing wicked people to hold this country down.

[E.P Aninze Esq. @EkeneAninze]

Just to be clear, Justice Isa Dashen, in the guise of reviewing his own judgement, ended up sitting as an Appellate Court over his own judgement.

Ordinarily, once a court delivers its judgement, it is said to have become functus officio, meaning that the court has performed its duty and exhausted its powers over that matter.

A court is not supposed to review its own judgement except in extreme circumstances, such as where it acted without jurisdiction, where a party to the suit was not properly served, or where the judgement was obtained by fraud.

Sadly, none of these circumstances existed to justify Justice Isa Dashen reviewing his own judgement.

It is important to note that the Peace Movement Party was not a party to the suit that earlier birthed the judgement of the Court on the 10th of December, 2025.

It was NDC that brought an action against INEC strictly on its administrative decision.

So, why did Justice Isa Dashen not direct that the Peace Movement Party be joined as a necessary party to the suit if he had reasoned that their presence was so important?

Why wait for six months and sixteen days before bringing such an application?

What would it have taken Justice Isa Dashen to reopen the case if he so desires, without disturbing the substance of his earlier judgement that was properly given?

The best thing the Peace Movement Party could have done was to apply as an interested party in the appeal, not coming through the windows of review.

But because they know that if INEC, being the only party to the suit, decides to appeal the judgement now, it will naturally raise suspicion.

So they instead opted for an application seeking a review of the same judgement they were never a party to.

This is exactly why many legal minds should be worried.

Because what just happened raises serious questions about the limits of judicial powers and the sanctity of final judgments.

I regret to say this, but we are in a very deep and unfortunate era as a nation.

I am Ekene Aninze Esq.
