@MinPres
The press conference happened inside the embassy of Afghanistan, where the Indian government has no jurisdiction. It is understandable for you to defend this act for your vote bank politics. But blaming it on the Indian government shows that Congress indeed has no moral values. You tend to even insult India as a country to absolve the crimes of Islamic extremism
40% of India's population is under the age of 25. Median age of India is just 29 years. A person who is 25 now would be 9 years in 2009, too young to understand India then.
So 40% of India will have very less clue as to how India was prior to the Modi era. It is important for the adults to educate them on this.
They will imagine whatever they are told like now there is "no press freedom in India and only Godi media", they won't know prior to Vajpayee era, for 50 years, India had only one government controlled news channel and radio to do govt propaganda. Not 1000 channels from all political parties like today.
They will believe "India is fascist now", because they are being told so. They will have no idea that there was no internet and social media. News papers were tightly controlled. Those who spoke against Govt or abused leaders, jailed. Corruption was rampant. Protests were suppresed by shooting, even fighters bombing from over head.
They will imagine "India's infrastructure is very bad" both from seeing issues and from propaganda. They will have no idea that for 50+ years there was very little infrastructure. Trains were painfully slow and full always. Derailments and accidents were super common. Something like 2-3 times what we see now. There was not even an effort to improve the highways and
connect the country until Vajpayee ji came.
It is the duty of every older adult to educate the young 40% of this country. Start with the widespresd "load-shedding" and powercuts for the starters.
People like Syeda Hameed, a close confidant of the Gandhi family legitimise illegal infiltrators, as they seek of realise Jinnah's dream of making Assam a part of Pakistan.
Today Assamese identity is on the brink of extinction because of the tacit support of people like her.
But we are the sons and daughters of Lachit Barphukan, WE WILL FIGHT till the last drop of our blood to save our State and our indentity.
Let me make it very clear, Bangladeshis are not welcome in Assam, it is not their land. Anyone sympathising with them may accomodate them in their own backyards.
Assam is not up for grabs by illegal infiltrators, NOT NOW, NOT EVER.
After Jamaat-e-Hind’s outburst demanding my dismissal yesterday, a Delhi-based team — Harsh Mander, Wajahat Habibullah, Fayaz Shaheen, Prashant Bhushan, and Jawahar Sircar — is now camping in Assam.
Their sole aim is to paint the lawful evictions as so-called “humanitarian crisis.” This is nothing but a planned attempt to weaken our fight against illegal encroachers.
We are alert and firm — no propaganda or pressure will stop us from protecting our land and culture
Multiple videos viral on SM claiming of shocked Bangladeshis after sighting AGNI-5, launched this evening from Odisha coast.
Some k@nglus are claiming it's an American missile, another claiming it's an asteroid - No it's Indian 🇮🇳Agni 5 and a message to many.
On account of the Modi government's commitment to restoring moral standards in politics and in view of the public resentment towards the menace, today with the Lok Sabha speaker's permission, I tabled constitutional amendment bills that will prevent people from holding important constitutional positions like Prime Minister, Chief Minister, or Union or State Minister while in jail.
The purpose is to elevate the declining moral standards and maintaining integrity in politics. The three bills will bring into effect the following regulations:
1. No person who is arrested and in jail can function as Prime Minister, Chief Minister, or Minister in the Union or State Government.
2. When the Constitution was framed, its makers could not have imagined that in the future, political leaders would refuse to resign on moral grounds even after being arrested. In recent years, the country has witnessed shocking instances where chief ministers or ministers continued to run governments from jail without resigning.
3. The bills also provide that an accused politician must obtain bail within 30 days of arrest. If they fail to secure bail within 30 days, then on the 31st day, either the Prime Minister or the Chief Minister will have to remove them; otherwise, by law, they will cease to remain eligible to function. Once granted bail through due legal process, such leaders may be reinstated to their positions.
Now the people of the country need to decide: Is it right for a minister, chief minister, or prime minister to run a government from jail?
Venugopal: "When Shah was Gujarat's HM, he was arrested. He showed Morality?"
~ SHAH: "I was framed in a FAKE Case. Yet, I RESIGNED before my arrest. And didn't hold a single Constitutional Post before Acquittal. You'll teach me Morality?"🔥
Venugopal PEED in his pants😭
The Hot Pursuit continues!
Our bulldozers reached Rengma Reserve Forest yesterday to pursue Part II of the eviction drive to free forest lands from encroachers.
The result?
26 Hectares of Forest Land reclaimed — enough to house 65 football fields!!
The action will continue.
