@asha_shar I never hear about anything fun or special for the few people in the bleeded edge of the yearly subscriber badge. I'm at 23 years (though was subscribed sooner since I beta tested Xbox Live). Non employee too!
we now have all 88 badges indexed in our gallery - along with 6,413,783 other images from https://t.co/h0cTLjg2ba !

@PlayStation@Xbox and @Nintendo are slowly making me apathetic to gaming. It's hard to get excited about closed studios, higher prices, and AI/live service slop
@DeekeTweak It's amazing to me how Microsoft has slowly killed the two Brands that had generally favourable perception in the Xbox and Surface lines all go all in on enterprise.
@tomwarren "Premium, high-end curated experience...". Might as well just formally drop hardware and go full publisher. I've been on Xbox since day one and I'm not even remotely interested in this line of thinking
I beta tested #XboxLive in Canada before it launched. I've generally been subscribed to @Xbox in some fashion since Gold launched in what, 2001? The value of the service is becoming harder to justify. I don't want EA Play, Ubi Classics or Fortnite, etc.
#speedrununaffordability
@Xbox@XboxP3 it would be nice if we could opt out of things like Ubi Classics or Fortnite Crew, etc so that the subscription price was lower. That's great value to some and unnecessary boat to the rest of us #subscriptionfatigue
@DeekeTweak I likely wouldn't be gaming anymore if it wasn't for Gamepass. After being devastated by a divorce and then unemployment, I would have given up the hobby if there was no Gamepass
@50PlusGamer1970@DMC_Ryan This is one of the worst arguments. That was also back when manufacturing a cartridge and physical distribution was over 50% of the cost. Not saying servers don't cost money, but the per unit costs are not the same
Just got an email about a price increase for PlayStation Plus. At this rate, @Xbox, @PlayStation and @Nintendo are going to price me out of gaming. Still love you @GOGcom
Looking forward to @Xbox@PlayStation@NintendoCoLtd and the rest of the publisher speedrunning us to another games industry crash. Look what constant price increases do, Are you observing what's happening in the film industry?
@xboxmoonknight@Xbox@PlayStation@Nintendo The stats are also showing that more and more people are sticking to games that are five, six, 7 years old. It suggests that not as many people are as interested in the new stuff, so it seems crazy to me to raise the price even further.
@Xbox@PlayStation@Nintendo keep raising game prices. As has been noted, the industry isn't really growing, despite so many ways to monetize and increased prices. I'm sure more price increases and a rumored $100 GTA 6, will change all of that /sarcasm
@xboxmoonknight@Xbox@PlayStation@Nintendo I don't think length of time should matter. I think I've bought the original DOOM multiple times over my lifetime across multiple platforms, and still haven't spent as much as where games are going. And I may have spent more time in that game, than any other game in my lifetime
