Today on our way home from Arizona by way of Twin Falls we had a flat tire on our travel trailer which we were also hauling a side by side trailer with Razor on it. Needless to say a full load. With not a lot of room to pull over and weather being terrible, we were able to pull over. Many many vehicles passed us but these two wonderful young men stopped to help. They were from Eldon Missouri on their way home from being in Oregon helping rebuild homes that had been list in forest fires last year. Our world needs more of these two young men, their names are Chauncey Zook and Randall Weaver. Please help me make them go viral they were such great kids. PLEASE PLEASE SHARE THIS”

Throughout his career with FDNY EMS, Lt. Paul Ardizzone has exemplified professionalism, courage, and dedication to the people of New York City. His leadership in high-risk rescue operations, commitment to patient care, and mentorship of fellow EMTs and paramedics have left a lasting impact on the EMS community.

Lt. Ardizzone has been recognized for several notable lifesaving actions, including:

Receiving the Christopher J. Prescott Medal in 2022 for providing advanced life support to trapped victims during a Brooklyn building collapse.

Receiving the Tracy Allen-Lee Medal in 2019 for helping treat and evacuate a critically ill patient from a cruise ship during a maritime rescue operation.

His service reflects the highest ideals of emergency medical services: compassion under pressure, technical excellence, and unwavering commitment to those in need. His contributions to FDNY EMS and the countless lives he has touched will continue to inspire future generations of providers.

The identity of the U.S. Army soldier who lost his life in Iraq on July 18, 2026 has been revealed. Sergeant Michael Swinton was tragically KIA during a controlled detonation of a downed Iranian drone.

His identity was shared by his wife, Mia Gonzalez-Swinton, following official family notifications by the military.

With profound sorrow, we mourn the passing of one of America's Greatest Generation, WWII hero Ray Curtis, who has left us at the remarkable age of 109. Ray passed away peacefully at an assisted living facility in Minot, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.🕊️🇺🇸

Born on February 11, 1917, in Portal, North Dakota, Ray moved to Minot with his family in 1927 and graduated from Minot High School in 1935. He went on to answer his nation's call, serving with honor in the United States Army for five years, first as an enlisted soldier and later as a commissioned officer, including service overseas during one of history's darkest chapters.

Ray's life was a testament to courage, sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering patriotism. Across more than a century, he witnessed the world change in extraordinary ways, yet his legacy remained rooted in humility, duty, and love of country.

Today, we don't simply remember a veteran, we honor a hero whose service helped preserve the freedoms generations continue to enjoy. His story reminds us that true heroes never seek recognition; they earn it through selfless acts and steadfast devotion.

Thank you, Ray Curtis, for your extraordinary service, your sacrifice, and your lifetime of example. Your watch has ended, but your legacy will endure in the hearts of a grateful nation.

Deputy Sheriff Adam Heitman is gone.

A 38-year-old Marine vet and K-9 handler with the Creek County Sheriff’s Office @CreekCoSheriff in Oklahoma dropped dead from a medical emergency right after chasing down and arresting a wanted felon with his dog. Less than an hour later, at the station, his body gave out. Brothers tried to save him, but he didn’t make it.

This guy had already saved lives before. Back in 2022 he hit an overdose victim with Narcan three times and kept doing CPR until she came back breathing. Real hero stuff. Married, two little girls left behind.

We lose another good one while the trash he was hauling in keeps breathing. That’s the world these men walk into every damn shift. No glory, just risk and then silence.

Deputy Heitman ran toward the fight when most folks run away. Rest easy, brother. Your watch is over. We got it from here.

RIP. Oklahoma Deputy Sheriff Adam Heitman, who gave his life in the line of duty, is the 55th officer lost in 2026.

Deputy Sheriff Adam Heitman died from a medical emergency after apprehending a fleeing felon during an arrest attempt.

The Creek County Sheriff’s Office Task Force, the United States Marshals Service, Muscogee Nation Lighthorse Police, and Creek County Sheriff's Office deputies were serving a warrant on a suspect wanted on multiple felony warrants. On July 7, the suspect had fled law enforcement during a traffic stop and had been charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer.

When officers attempted to arrest the suspect, he fled. Deputy Heitman, with his K9 partner, Thanos, pursued the suspect over a fence, across a creek, and through a field, apprehending the suspect.

Back at the Creek County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Heitman suffered a medical emergency less than an hour after the arrest. Despite attempts at life-saving measures, he passed away that evening at Ascension St. John Sapulpa Hospital.

The suspect, a convicted felon with prior escape convictions and a long criminal record, has a pending DUI case, a deferred sentence in a 2014 drug case, charges for assault and battery, and escape from arrest.

Deputy Heitman was a United States Marine Corps veteran and had served with the Creek County Sheriff's Office for four years. He previously served with the Kiefer Police Department.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
