Like trust me, when I describe ADMM or some numerical algorithm, I don't say "we did this with a reiterative Tikhonov method", cuz that's wrong

@zaeemal_ BRUH YES, my family be like "You should get a full time job" like HOW, 40 hours a week plus a dissertation has to be INSANE, how am I gonna work while doing that and classes for multiple years😂 they just don't understand how phds work, they think it's like a master's degree.

@sh_reya It isn't even just about others, you personally have to feel invested in it. I wanted to pursue PHD cuz I loved econometrics and casual inference and machine learning THAT much, that I wanna wake up every day and read about it or be involved with the research in it.
