@AndyStaples@AriWasserman I’m kind of over the whole “save college sports” thing. Tomorrow you all should break down the new #pac12. I think that conference is going to a lot of fun.
I love Coach Saban, but he’s wrong. The market has yet to find its level. What they don’t like is they don’t get all the money…they have to give it to the kids now. No cap, no limits without collective bargaining. #cfb
I don’t really like that players transfer every year…but without collective bargaining or employment contracts, how is restricting freedom of movement a good thing? #cfb#cbb
I don’t understand the rhetoric around college athletes making too much money. The market continues to rise, and the overall “spend” has yet to level off. How is it “unsustainable?” #cfb#cbb
@BudElliott3 as an avid #cfb fan for thirty years…what’s so weird to me is how much coaches talk about protecting themselves against losses. I remember when coaches talked about wanting to win every game. Now it’s like they are planning on losing three times.
@BudElliott3 Thank you! This seems like the best year of #summerschool so far! Really great work sir! And I love the “who could arrive early?” question…I’m keeping a running list!
@BudElliott3 other podcasters are slacking over the holiday, I’m running out of content…if you wouldn’t mind releasing a few extra #summerschools today that would be great! Thanks!
When you look at the depth of the #nbadraft in 2026 vs 2027, you wonder why a fringe 2026 first rounder would even entertain staying in the draft. A borderline first rounder this year is probably top 20 next year.
@MattNorlander@GaryParrishCBS thanks for reading my question in the mailbag. And hopefully you get use of the court/arena/hall names I put together in my other email.
@Coach_DeVries with the tournament expansion, I would like to see at least 50% of the non-conference games against highly competitive teams (let’s call it top 100 kenpom). As a season ticket holder I would like them to be at home as well. #iubb
