Let's get this clear, if someone is upset by a teacher wearing a Palestine badge, the teacher is not being antisemitic. That person is being racist towards Palestinians. This really isn't hard.
Scientology are genuinely missing a trick by not targeting Mikel Arteta, tell him Arsenal can get a Champions League by becoming a Level 7 Laser Wizard and he’d be all-in in seconds
There are people who hold Marcus Rashford to a standard they never held Mason Greenwood to, that genuinely treat Rashford like he did something unforgivable & evil the way Greenwood did, but also seemingly never held Greenwood accountable the way they do with Rashford.
🤢
Arsenal fans claiming conspiracy on the referee & VAR are performing extraordinary mental gymnastics or a huge inferiority complex. Bukayo Saka got away with a stonewall penalty & Noni Madueke hooked his arm in to try & win one.
Have a shred of objectivity, you're not victims.
I mean this in the most respectful way possible
Arteta may be pulling off the absolute worst terrorist ball champions league final of all time
Sean Dyche is screaming somewhere watching this
I see the Champions League final is being refereed with 5-a-side ‘just doesn’t really feel like it should be a penalty’ rules rather than actual ‘he’s just touched the ball with both hands inside the box’ normal ones
Kobbie Mainoo was frozen out & disrespected by Ruben Amorim for over a year, to the detriment of his career & his club. He was written off & abused by fans not of Manchester United, but his former coach.
How good must he be feeling today, heading to his first World Cup at the age of 21. He kept his head down, worked hard & instantly recaptured his form after returning to the first team, vital to his team's form.
What a player & what a talent. The present & the future for his club & his country.
Arteta best manager in the world for revolutionizing set pieces and relying on set pieces to win titles. Same fanbase don’t want Bruno to win the best player award because he got legitimate assists from set pieces.
Make it make sense.
You guys remember that Dragon Age: Origins lets you perform Morrigan’s Dark Ritual, where she conceives a child (Kieran) specifically designed to absorb Urthemiel’s soul so the Grey Warden doesn’t have to die killing the Archdemon?
A whole morally loaded choice: sacrifice yourself, or create a child carrying the soul of an Old God.
Then in Dragon Age: Inquisition, if you did the ritual, Kieran shows up as an Old God child—until Flemeth (Mythal’s vessel) straight up extracts that soul from him.
And immediately after, Solas kills Flemeth and absorbs Mythal’s power… which heavily implies he now also has whatever was taken from Kieran, including that Old God essence.
So now we have:
• Mythal’s power
• an Old God soul (Urthemiel)
• all tied to Solas, the guy planning to tear down the Veil
And then… it’s never acknowledged again, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard seems to sidestep or flatten those choices entirely.
You’re telling me one of the biggest decisions in Origins—literally cheating death and creating a vessel for an Old God soul—just gets funneled into the same endpoint anyway?
What was the point of the choice then.
What is the difference between what happened here with Ndiaye & Szoboszlai (no VAR review, no card) compared to Martinez & Calvert-Lewin (VAR review, red)?
Exact same action, a hair pull during a physical contest. Only difference is the players' reaction.
United need to sue @FA_PGMOL for that Licha decision showing why the Brentford player pulling hair wasn’t a red and why Gabriel pulling Haaland’s hair wasn’t a red.
Do it, @ManUtd
