@mean_field_zane @finn_hulse u tend to see simpler models as you’re punished more for overfitting than underfitting due to lower SNR and the adversarial nature of the markets. that being said as we approach an infinite data world this becomes less true and ur allowed to cook more

@paleonormie there are clearly optimizations you can make to min/max the result without putting in the same effort and hours. not willing to play if you believe you are above this requires some verifiable proof your way is better, which has certainly happened in the past with some founders

@paleonormie someone who’s high iq should either know how to max exploit this eval to their advantage or break its rules as a visionary. if they can do neither and still complain about the eval being bad while being sidelined they’re just sore losers and suboptimal game players
