Twitter, now currently called X, has become a cesspool for the pure benefit of a single person to give an equal voice people that salivate at the idea of concentration camps and death squads. I am now only on bluesky. I have no intention to return until the current owner dies.
Every time I think about going back to Fallout 4, I'm reminded that Bethesda bricked my save as a FU to mod creators they couldn't profit off of. The one mod I had was to show the dialogue options, which makes the game playable.
@Coffee_Stain I have not been a fan of this new Satisfactory story update. I understand that all these factory games have anti imperialist themes, but I don't like my relax from the horrors of the world game to constantly remind me I'm killing everyone on the planet.
I got back on my diet. It took me a long time to find a weight loss plan that works. I just need to give up a lot of time to food prep and exercise, also drink a gallon of water a day. I also just have to be miserable for 3 days to 2 weeks until I adjust to a calorie deficit.
@CodeRed_dev It looks like YouTubers made it and I probably won't see it until years after it comes out or never at all. Its extremely easy to never think about this ever again.
I got an alert for a game jam in a discord I'm in and the idea just sounds too stressful. I don't think I have anything in me, maybe if I get a feasible idea I like from the theme.
So how does this work, you have to make exactly one tweet every 6 hours or something, preferably with high traffic stolen content or something? I've always refrained from just dumping slop onto the pile, but that appears how you make it.
@GingerNingersh Lots of people see only the potential profit in something, they don't care about the quality or the people that have to do the labor. They want to put money in one side and have exponentially more come out the other. That mindset is why everything is broken.
I wrote most of a Dark Science Fiction book for NaNoWriMo at the start of the year and I have never stopped thinking about it. I unfortunately think its too cringy to actually let anyone else read it.
@shrimp_rider There will come a day when they get tired of failing to make exponential profits and will just sell it off to a gatcha / mobile game publisher who will break dnd over their knee and shatter it into a million pieces to the cheering screams of the community.
@Crazy24699 @CodeRed_dev I just don't like the layout. I could probably get used to it, but it took me long enough to learn Unity and its not like I get a lot of dev time to begin with.
