This devroom is for the people who build, run, contribute to, and depend on that stack. We want talks that share what actually happens in production: the migration stories, the upstream patches, the 3 AM postmortems. Less “hello world” and more “here’s what we learned when it broke.” If your work involves running infrastructure at any scale - from a homelab cluster to a national-scale platform, this room is for you.

Devrooms are a lovely concept borrowed from FOSDEM and introduced by the IndiaFOSS team. They are a 3 hour “mini conference” within the main IndiaFOSS conference in a separate room.

@pointblank_club has 16 people involved in this year’s Google Summer of Code. What is less well known is the sheer breadth and depth of the FOSS culture we foster. So we’re putting it all out for the world to see!

1087 merged PRs. 178 organizations. 68 contributors. 1 team.

These aren’t any random hacktoberfest spam repos either. The contributions range from projects like LLVM, Rust, Julia, CRIU, The Linux Kernel, Ankidroid, Juspay, FreeCAD, Keploy and many more. Chances are if you’ve used open source software, some of the code you use was contributed by a Point Blank member!
