Today's knock will do a world of good to establish Vaibhav Suryavanshi as a serious contender in international cricket. Probably the best innings he has played, considering the early wickets, big match pressure, and the steamy bowling from both Siraj and Rabada at the start. He might have played contrary to his natural instincts but the maturity and match awareness he displayed clearly shows that he has arrived at the international stage.
Keep going Vaibhav!
Is being a Gandhian or believing in non-violence a prerequisite to qualify as a staunch nationalist?
Even contemporaries like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, and Chandra Shekhar Azad were not Gandhians. They rightfully believed in armed revolution, and fighting for one's freedom, rather than a performative quiet struggle.
In fact,
>Bhagat Singh took inspiration from Savarkar's book, "The Indian War of Independence of 1857", which was banned by the British.
> Mahatma Gandhi referred to Savarkar as a "faithful son of Bharat"
>Netaji advocated Savarkar's idea of Indian youth joining the British military to gain arms training
>India Gandhi, herself issued stamps to honour Savarkar's legacy and social reforms. The brochure released along with the stamps, referred to him as "Veer Savarkar".
India was competing with China in GDP terms until Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister. After Dr. MMS became the PM in 2004, the economic disparity between the two countries only widened multifold. The GDP gap between India and China increased by roughly 110% under Vajpayee, while it grew by more than 500% under Dr. MMS.
Perhaps he should check the actual data before blabbering.
The underlying issue is not in the examination pattern, rather the incompetence of the conducting organisation.
Class 10 and 12 examinations build a foundation, while subsequent professional examinations like JEE and NEET test subject expertise. In the foundational stage, students, apart from textbook knowledge, need to be trained in writing ability, comprehension skills, brief articulation of thoughts, presentation, and time management.
However, the current system seems outdated, considering how learning and knowledge are evolving with AI. Our primary education currently rewards rote learning and not practical understanding.
While getting rid of board examinations completely may not help the cause, some reforms in the teaching methodology and examination patterns, like including more application and critical thinking based questions, descriptive questions testing the analytical ability instead of memorization strength, arethe need of the hour.
The economic disparity between India and China grew steepest between 2004-2014. It's ironic people keep blaming BJP for the widening gap between the two countries, while they weren't even in power when this imbalance reached a point of no return.
The data never lies!
China is better than us in almost every aspect.
The 3 biggest differences between China and India are:
>Democracy
>Institutions
>Young population
Destroy all of these in India, and no one will be able to touch China for centuries to come.
The BJP-RSS is destroying all three.
You saying "Congress created the first Hindu country in the world" shows the level of IQ you wear on your sleeve. India was not created on 15th August 1947, as you want people to believe. India is a 5,000 year old civilization, that has been groomed by many great rulers with a foundational framework based on democracy, public welfare, sovereignty, and cultural vitality.
This tweet is a great example of the moronic thinking that fuels a Modi Bhakt. If he had half a brain-cell he would have realised that Congress created the first Hindu country in the world and also groomed a functioning democracy that allows people like him to wear his IQ on his sleeve and vote for any fraud who massages his limitations the right way. Please donโt call me a Congressi just because I had a nice thing to say about them. I call it as I see it and I vote for policy & plans, not public performance.

@ANI This clearly highlights tte moral bankruptcy of the Indian system. Can't even imagine the agony the victim and her family will go through while seeing this.
Utterly Disgraceful!
@ANI Why are you afraid to call him a convicted rapist and name the party that releases him on parole time and again just to appease the religious fanaticism of a few termites in society? @ANI
If you truly believe that rigging of elections and a compromised ECI are the root of all problems, you cannot destroy this harmful root simplyby ranting on social media. Why don't you gather evidence and approach the Supreme Court?
You have 45 days of CCTV access of the strong rooms in the West Bengal elections. If indeed the current government is illegitimate with a stolen mandate, get to work, collect facts, gather evidence, and demand a repoll in the Supreme Court!
You have destroyed every department within the Education Ministry. From NEET to SSC and now CBSE. The institutions have collapsed, system has broken down, and trust has long eroded.
Are you getting any kind of sadistic pleasure by playing with the future of our youth? If not, please resign and let a competent person handle the Ministry of Education. "Education" is something beyond your capabilities.

"Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel"
I really feel the CJI was right when he said unemployed youth raising their voice against democratic institutions and protesting against the system, are like cockroaches. The ruling class truly treats its citizens like cockroaches, unless you blindly praise them without questioning their accountability.
At a time when the youth is questioning paper leaks, unemployment, institutionalized corruption in government departments, and price hikes, this is the priority of the CM of the largest state.
In all probability, people will be labelled anti-national for questioning this unnecessary expenditure, just because it involves patriotic songs.

Unemployment has reduced if you look at the macro-level data. However, there is a larger issue concerning the youth and our country, especially rural India.
The percentage of people employed in the agricultural sector is surging upwards, which is a worrying sign in any developing economy. Any aspiring economic superpower would want to employ more of its workforce in the tertiary sector, which is unfortunately not the case in rural India.
The proportion of people employed in the agricultural sector have surged from 53.5% to 58.5% from Q1 to Q3 in FY 25, while the tertiary sector employment has reduced from 22.1% to 20.6% in the same period.
This shows that even if the young people are increasingly joining the workforce, their disposable income still paints a gloomy picture.
We are failing to utilise our demographic dividend. It would be better if our leaders realize this soon and make corrective reforms. @theskindoctor13
That would be a great investment to make, considering the high number of state and national-level examinations occurring throughout the year. JEE, NEET, UPSC, SSC, CUET, and many other recruitment examinations hold the future of millions of students at stake.
Aspirants have to travel hundreds of kilometres to reach the examination centre, and sometimes even move to other states just to appear for an examination, making it a painstaking process, especially for financially underprivileged students.
Our youth deserves better from the system - complete transparency, top-notch infrastructure, and the best facilities. 'One district, one examination centre' will surely mitigate the logistical concerns and smoothen out the entire process.
Many people question the government in the harshest of words and proudly endorse their Indian identity at the same time. Nobody questions their identity! Why on earth would you do something this stupid, unless you are ashamed of being an Indian or reluctant to own your national identity?
The UPA government issued oil bonds of โน1.48 lakh crore, which had a compounded value of โน3.23 lakh crore, including interest. The government has earned over โน36 lakh crore as revenue in the past 5 years, from taxes and duties, more than 11 times the cumulative value of oil bonds. Also,
>The global crude prices were consistently above $100 per barrel during the UPA tenure,
>It reduced to about $63 per barrel post 2014, and it fluctuated between $60 and $70 for many years after PM Modi came to power.
> India saved millions of dollars by buying Russian crude oil at heavy discount after the onset of Russia -Ukraine war
>The state-run OMCs have registered a 130% surge in profit from FY 24-25 to FY 25-26.
The petroleum minister @HardeepSPuri must answer
- why weren't these benefits passed on to the consumers to give them a respite from rising inflation?
-why have our Russian crude imports been on the decline in past few months, despite the fact that the transportation and insurance costs of Russian crude is significantly less, compared to that from Venezuela because of lesser distance?
@pradip103 Hike in petrol prices is understandable in these uncertain times, but atleast don't create of a mockery of yourself and the public intellect by posting such state-wise comparisons. The petrol price is โน111.1 in Maharashtra and โน111.69 per litre in MP.
