Flight SG495 (PNR CGMZJN) from DEL to DBR on 08 Mar 2026 was cancelled by the airline @flyspicejet.
Booking was made via HappyFares (ref HBCDEFPW). Despite airline cancellation, the travel agent is delaying the refund saying the airline is verifying the amount.
@flyspicejet Hi - I had shared bank details 10 days ago. Still waiting for the amount to be credited back to my bank account.
Can anyone check the status?
@airindia@DGCAIndia@MoCA_GoI@airindia A child safety device has been rendered unsafe (safety indicator turned red) due to baggage handling, yet a ₹60,000 compensation approved via AirSewa after review has been reversed to a ₹10,000 e-voucher.
Requesting appropriate intervention. @DGCAIndia@MoCA_GoI
@airindia@airindia The response appears to be a generic template, even addressing me incorrectly as “Mr. Pandey” in both replies on X, which reflects lack of proper review.
The core issue remains the reversal of ₹60,000 compensation formally approved via AirSewa after full review.
@airindia@airindia The response appears to be a generic template (even addressing the wrong name), which does not address the core issue — reversal of ₹60,000 compensation formally approved via AirSewa after full review and relied upon.Proceeding with further action. @DGCAIndia@MoCA_GoI
@airindia@airindia The concern is not about the current offer, but the reversal of ₹60,000 compensation previously approved via AirSewa after full review and relied upon.
Request reconsideration of the approved settlement. @DGCAIndia@MoCA_GoI
@airindia@airindia AirSewa complaint marked “resolved” again, however issue remains unresolved. ₹60,000 approved after full review has been reversed as “erroneous.”
Requesting intervention as approved settlement is not being honoured. @DGCAIndia@MoCA_GoI
@airindia@airindia Following up — ₹60,000 compensation approved via AirSewa after full review and bank details shared, now reversed as “erroneous” and reduced to a ₹10,000 e-voucher.
Case marked resolved despite being unresolved. Request intervention. @DGCAIndia@MoCA_GoI@airsewa_MoCA
@airindia@airindia This has been communicated multiple times — the issue is not minor scratches but the missing infant insert and red safety indicator, making the seat unsafe for use. Reported to AI at DEL Airport and photos shared.
Request proper reassessment and resolution. @DGCAIndia
@airindia@airindia AirSewa complaint marked “resolved,” however issue is NOT resolved. ₹60,000 compensation was approved after review and bank details were shared, but later reversed as “erroneous” and reduced to ₹10K
Request reopening and fair resolution. @DGCAIndia@airsewa_MoCA
@airindia@airindia Approved ₹60,000 compensation via AirSewa (AT808486) after full review. Bank details shared. Now being told it was “erroneous” and reduced to ₹10,000.
Issue is not minor scratches but missing infant insert & red safety indicator making seat unusable.
@airindia This is a child safety device and cannot be used once compromised. Invoice (CAD 903) & photos shared on X thread and via AirSewa (NO784933/AT808486). Request fair reassessment under Montreal Convention. @DGCAIndia
@airindia@airindia The issue is not limited to a missing part. The infant insert (which is not sold separately and is part of the product) is missing and the car seat’s safety indicator has turned red after handling, making it unsafe for use.
@airindia The details have already been shared multiple times.
The damaged car seat which is not safe for child use is worth $905, invoice has been shared with Air India along with DPR report and pictures.
Request resolution as per Montreal convention for total loss of damaged item.
