instead of giving subisidy on training model we should give on cheaper price for models like these from rest of the world.

AI promises enormous abundance for all of humanity, but only if two conditions are met:

a) We control it. It’s not a given that we’ll have AIs that we would be able to control. An AI that nobody is able to control is not only useless, but dangerous.

b) Productivity gains from AI are redistributed. Yes, there will be abundance but will it be hoarded by AI owners or widely shared?

AI control is a technical problem while inequality is a socio-politico problem, so there’s enough work for all of us!

@jsensarma Honestly I don't even know how can we solve this cause generally you start with low end manufacturing and slowly increase the sophistication and value add generating better jobs in our case we got degree holders first and we didn't do industrialization at all 🙃

In the melee of #CockroachProtests we have not noticed the spectacular failure #BJP media team including ITCell. Total inability to create a narrative to counter hateful well crafted narrative of Left Ecosystem. They didn’t go beyond memes or whataboutry.

Their attention seems to be more on stalking well-wishers who, on some occasions, also criticize BJP honestly & positively, and threatening or abusing them. Harshvardhan ji @MediaHarshVT knows this just like me.
That #Modi ji had to put in his all to retrieve the situation, even make a reel at midnight reflects poorly on BJP communication. My heart breaks. Hence this bitter post.

BJP Media seems to have no connect with the ground, no feedback mechanism obviously, and did not understand youth anger built over months, not just on NEET. NEET was the straw on their back.

People like me speak from field experience, not excel sheets or ppts. My criticism 2024 served BJP wonderfully well.

the issue is we are at 3k per capita, tell me one country which can even think about creating jet engine or nuclear tech at 3k per capita, we were able to do this because of our size.

which means we can fund only 1/2 companies that too no where at the level of american counter parts.

ideally Domestic market is very important, China has brilliant model of protectionism + cut throat competition, both without each other is counter productive, China has Baidu and ten cent because of this.

the nuance here is that we are at 3000 per capita with 1.5 billion population, our cities have both 10k per capita areas and 2k(or lower) per capita areas, there is a stark diff between both these areas and this will get fixed as we grow.

there are of course issues with politicians, local corruption, but tell me which country doesn't have it ?? china does, USA does, living in an area with 20x per capita of india and shitting on it, meanwhile you are the top crop who got subsidised education and do nothing for the country not even live here and only complain.

if they compare areas with 10k per capita from india with japan they will find it very close, but anyway it's fine they have their lives and choice so no hard feelings.
