Solo traveling made me smarter and more confident in myself. It also taught me discernment, like immediately. Soon as I hit that foriegn airport, my intuition was on 1000 percent. Nothing taught me to trust my gut fully like traveling alone.
@bakwaasmaster oh and for your first cc i’d suggest looking into something that has quite a low annual fee or no annual fee, but keep this in mind that generally, the lower the annual fee, the lower the benefits you get. get something that you feel aligns with your goals and habits.
@bakwaasmaster careful about which cc you apply for, and how your spending habits are, a high interest rate cc is fine as long as you have a habit of not spending money you don’t have or paying in full cause you wanna reap the benefits of have a cc but pay the least amount in fees and interest
@bakwaasmaster don’t use them to take out cash, they’re not extra money/loans. sometimes they charge your an extra percentage based on how much you take out in cash advances and on top of that you don’t really get any benefits from doing so since those transactions don’t count as you buying 1/n
@bakwaasmaster and use it to your advantage, pay your cc in full on the due date, if you really can’t do that the at the very least make your minimum payment and keep it in mind that they will charge you some interest on the balance owed, it can range from 12.99% all the way upto 34% so be 3/n
@bakwaasmaster a product or paying any merchant for some service. use them just like a debit card i’d suggest and don’t buy things you wouldn’t pay for in full, the cc system is setup in a way that they will try to confuse you with minimum payments, due dates and such, you wanna learn it 2/n
