But that would make sense, because all he was doing at first was just figuring out how to use Goku's saiyan body and abilities. So once he merged his god ki with it, enter Ssj Rosé 🤔

It was moslty because she used to shit on him alot in the beginning. She was abusive to him (played for laughs mind you) and obsessively crush on a guy who didn't really have much feelings for her

@cflowarts @karu2X While i do think this is an extremely good explanation, really good in fact; wouldn't present Goku have been training much harder than his future counterpart due to the knowledge of incoming Androids?
I'm sure he would've trained ssj regardless but now against Piccolo and Gohan

@leothechimera @GalacticMj I guess but to play devil's advocate, King Kai or the others never got involved in mortals affairs. They just watched over. The only reason King Kai got involved was due to his relationship with Goku.
The Supreme Kai (Shin) only got involved because of the threat of Buu

And yeah I believe ssj Black would've been enough. Trunks DID get stronger too, and he has seen Black use ssj, but i think they just wanted to move things ahead 😅

Yeah i can see that because while Black did catch a few zenkais, would it be safe to say that Trunks probably got stronger too, in general. I mean he trained with Vegeta. He actually got a some rest instead of the daily stress and pressure he's had before

When it comes to King Kai not saying anything: I'm guessing because Gok and the others weren't really time traveling so it technically didn't break any rules. Not to mention, they're not always watching or getting too involved idk 😅
