The woman killed by ICE today was a poet. She won the 2020 Academy of American Poets, University & College Poetry Prize at Old Dominion University. This was her bio:
"Renée Macklin is from Colorado Springs, Colorado and is studying Creative Writing at ODU. Her poetry has been published in Metrosphere and Coronado Literary Review, and she currently co-hosts a podcast with her husband, comedian Tim Macklin. When she is not writing, reading, or talking about writing, she has movie marathons and makes messy art with her daughter and two sons."
(People are posting the wrong woman's photo, the red lipstick photo is not her. This is Renee, from her social media accounts.)
@mshahi0024@AshwiniVaishnaw For every Ahole scamster in India you will find 10 good humans like the guy who helped her find the platform.
The need is for those 10 good people to come together and not let these Aholes win !
@CultureExploreX And you comfortably omit all the eastern civilizations ? Yoor list is incomplete without the rock-cut Kailasa Temple from Ellora, India.
@IndianTechGuide Please correct your question. Replace "foreigners" with "white Caucasian Foreigners".
Have you ever seen any Indian taking selfie with an African or Brown foreigner ?
@timecaptales@fasc1nate This was Uwe, who she was in relationship with many years ago and she also collaborated with him on many art projects. Yes she did not know he will be meeting her here after years.
