@Siviwe_G@DBE_SA That’s very interesting that you guys are stating laws yet my daughter is being discriminated for not having done afrikaans by Mr Peter Swart. And when we escalate our emails are ignored and we are being told to go back to Peter Swart and reason with him.
4. I have sent emails to the district, office of the MEC etc yet to this day no response or assistance has been provided. We followed the rules, compiled with every process and we are being blocked by an individual on a reason the law prohibits.
@EducationGP1@DBE_SA@Siviwe_G@matomekopano@Lesufi I urgently need assistance, my daughter has been denied placement at Randpark High despite living 1.4km from the school, and all documents approved but because her second language is isiZulu not Afrikaans.
3.According to the GDE Admission Regulations 2A(1)(1), A learner may NOT be refused admission based on language, culture, race or any form of unfair discrimination. yet the decision for my daughter is the opposite of this.
