@bleednucksblue He is improved defensively at 3B however at one point was a -3 OAA and -3 FRV, he also reportedly did not want to play 1B so he was out anyway

The Mets have are in a soft tank right now and will very likely tell him he's going to come off the bench next year or be traded/cut. They have 3 viable replacements for him next year in Rojas, Pitre & Voit

The Baseball Prospectus guys had mentioned almost after the Mets signed Soto they wanted to get out of Nimmo's contract and this past off-season like between 25-27 teams it was hard no for Nimmo and his contract

@RSAdiamondtales @bleednucksblue No team wanted to take Nimmo's contract besides the Rangers, it's amazing how you still don't get this. It's not fantasy baseball, that contract horrible the second it was signed for the Mets.
