@HiddenMonopoly Even Amazon couldn’t afford this model, so it pushed it to third parties. Small companies should copy Apple: one product for all, not the long tail—better product, lower costs, bigger profits.
@HiddenMonopoly company that follows this book’s approach will fail because it requires the same process and cost to produce within a very small market. By creating more long-tail products, you’ll eventually end up with a warehouse full of unsold inventory. I know this because I tried it myself.
@QualityInvest5 I could be wrong, but Adobe = high price, top-end clients. Competitors = low price, mass “good enough” users. Today Adobe is safe. Tomorrow, the Flywheel wins.
I've spent years obsessing over 100-baggers.
I recently found Anna Yartseva's study that analyzed 464 ten-baggers over 24 years.
It challenged everything I thought I knew. FCF yield dominated every other factor.
Here's why I'm rebuilding my approach:🧵
Elon Musk: We don't know the meaning of life, but we can expand consciousness to understand more.
“Our AI Grok is modeled after the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which is one of my favorite books. It's a book on philosophy disguised as a book on humor. And I would say that forms the basis of my philosophy, which is that we don't know the meaning of life. But the more we can expand the scope and scale of consciousness, digital and biological, the more we are able to understand what questions to ask about the answer that is the universe. I have a philosophy of curiosity.”

Warren Buffett: "Having the right heroes is terribly important. You tell me who a ten-year-old's heroes are and I can give you a pretty good prediction about how they're gonna turn out. You want to choose your heroes very carefully b/c you're gonna look like them at some point."
