People talk about the NBA being soft and how the players are all too friendly and we need the old school rivalries back, then an elite star gets traded to a division rival and everyone is telling him to be nice like what the fuck do we actually want?
This kinda nails the main issue that bothers me so much with this team. They carry themselves like they won that world series. They act like, and the FO treats them like they’re this legendary core. They constantly say we’ll come back like we always do, but they haven’t actually done that. They talk about how important it is to have home field but they haven’t won at home in the playoffs in 4 years. It’s an extremely weird disconnect - especially when the team across the street lost a Superbowl
and came back and won one within 2 years.
Didn’t even try to sign Alonso bc u refused to move Harper off 1B, then u ended up doing it for a slap hitter a year later
Didn’t even attempt to sign Murakami or Okamoto.
Resigned a horrible aging catcher to an egregious deal when nobody was offering anything close to it.
Didn’t even attempt to sign Bregman bc u just had to let Bohm play here again.
And there are many more examples
Jalen Hurts is the top ranked quarterback in the NFL on throws of 25+ yards in the air since the start of the 2022 season. He has the most TDs (28) and completions and the 6th best passer rating. Jalen is a great deep ball passer.
Making it my life mission to not let Drake Maye mistakes go unnoticed on the timeline…
What an incredibly underthrown ball for a walk-in touchdown lol AJ Brown’s body language really looking solid as well
If he gave this exact response after the game and owned up to it he would still be a Sixer, this is literally all we wanted but instead he tried to act like we didn’t all see what happened lmfao
