Starting December 29th (yes, we are intentionally skipping the cliché New Year resolution crowd), we are kicking off a Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) series.

This isn't a lecture from a "guru" claiming to know it all. This is an instructor-led session by a mathematics enthusiast and experienced industry engineer who is choosing to learn in public. @garima9826__ is running this cohort of DSA session and is inviting the community to learn alongside her.

If you’ve been looking for a way to start (or restart) your DSA journey with structure, accountability, and zero intimidation, this is it.

What to expect from this series:

🤝 Community First: Not a typical classroom. It’s a "let’s learn together" space.

🌐 Language Agnostic: Logic comes first. The code follows.

🧠 Deep Understanding: We focus on the Why and How, moving beyond memorizing solutions.

📈 The Real Process: We won’t jump straight to the optimized solution.
We go from: Brute Force -> Better -> Optimal.

⚡ Basics to Advanced: Starting with arrays and hashing before tackling trees and graphs.

💼 Real World Context: Discussing where these concepts actually show up in production (and interviews).

🗓️ Consistency: Daily problem-solving sessions and open doubt discussions.

Whether you are a "student just starting out" or a "working professional" (like me) wanting to keep your fundamentals sharp, you are welcome here. No prior DSA experience is needed... just basic programming familiarity.

I just wrapped up an awesome journey with Designing Data Intensive Applications. From February to August, I ran a public learning cohort, sticking with the book all the way through, it was the first time we ran a cohort this long. We finished something this solid, and really got what the book was teaching.

If you haven’t read it yet and you work with big data or want to understand how data is stored and managed in the cloud, I highly recommend you get into it. Trust me, it's super useful before you jump into advanced topics like machine learning or using models for big data tasks.

For me, it’s like learning to drive a manual car before moving to automatic… getting the basics right just helps everything else make sense later.

Now, I’m excited to start my next learn in public series with Team Shiksha.

If you’re new, this is where we pick a topic, break it down from the ground up, and level up together as a community.

This time, I plan to get handson with AI engineering. It’s a big, fast moving field… things like LLMs and AI agents are everywhere.

To be honest, there’s no fixed plan yet. We’re going to explore, try to understand how these systems are built, how they’re trained (even thinking about how we might train our own), and how people use AI agents in work and life today.
