Delhi: Bhuwan Ribhu, Founder of Just Rights for Children, says, "Today, the Supreme Court of India has directed its old Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitative Material Direction, further strengthening the safety of children, to the government, to frame this guideline within two weeks, that not only all social media companies in India will report this kind of material, but will make such a framework, We will make sure that there is no such platform and that children can be saved before that. So today, the court focused on saving and directed the government to make a framework of this in two weeks and submit it to the court. The court focused on how to save children from such harmful substances and how to report this to the police and the government in India...."

I congratulate @CMofKarnataka Shri D K Shivakumar @DKShivakumar, the Karnataka Police and Labour Department officials for this decisive statewide crackdown on child labour. With 962 police stations checking nearly 17,000 premises, 800 children have been rescued and legal action initiated against those employing them. Rescue must now be followed by prosecution, rehabilitation and education. The certainty of legal action is what creates deterrence and takes the #ruleoflaw to the last mile. https://t.co/SdOWdPh3Uc
