It does not insult Mr Ambani or Reliance; it berates 1.4 billion Indians & the world’s largest democracy! We have a DEMOCRATICALLY elected PM & everyone knows who he is, including Mr.Musk, and his name is NOT Ambani.

I rubbed my eyes twice and wondered if Elon's X account had been hacked. For a man of his standing to even post something like this is pathetic.

Before I discuss the larger issues on hand, let us first understand the STARLINK facts -

1. STARLINK has had a GMPCS license in India since 2025
2. Starlink was granted in-space authorisation in Jul 25
3. As per Starlink officials, Starlink India was being set up (Jan 2026)
4. Starlink's application is now stuck at the security clearance stage, along with Jio SES and One Web, belonging to Reliance and Airtel respectively.

So what is Elon crying about?

India will do what is best for her security, sovereignty, and integrity. Just because you are the richest doesnt mean you can buy India!

We have the cheapest data packages in the world & we dont want to pay more; we also dont want our nation to lose out on national security issues. A prudent businessman would have stood along with the other two companies who are being shut out with you, not fought them.

Let me only say, that your tweet has UNITED many more Indians behind our Prime Minister @narendramodi than before.

This, coupled with the US Govt's actions against Indian IT companies & the US move on Russian Oil, makes it obvious what is happening.

When pushed & harangued by Nixon & Kissinger in 1971, she spoke in French, and then walked out of the White House, rather than be insulted by trash.

She flew back to India and called opposition leaders, including Vajpayee ji, to form a consensus for the 1971 war; that is Nationalism, a concept too alien to you.

India has the among the lowest data prices in the world. It is so good that I don't even bother to connect to local Wifi when I travel in India and just tether my phone to work on my computer. Indians routinely have dual SIM phones with large data plans because they are so affordable. Ambani's launch of Jio is directly responsible for the low data prices Indians enjoy.

India has among the lowest drug prices in the world (and going lower still). People who visit India buy medicines to take home quite regularly now.

India has among the lowest cost payment systems in the world in UPI.

On the other hand, Tesla is protected from Chinese competition in the US market, keeping EV prices higher in America than elsewhere.

Prime Minister Modi has worked hard to create a competitive economy where the benefits flow to the average Indian. His government does not tolerate monopolies. He has also actively promoted and encouraged a massive surge in startups and that is the best signal of a highly competitive economy.

Directly due to Modi government policy, Indian startups are making major advances in low cost rockets and that poses a threat to SpaceX the same say the Chinese EVs threaten Tesla.

These are the facts Elon.

This is the White House going full on Modi after India refused to budge on Trade Deal. MEA & FM both cleared stance and now just like Bessent did on Russian Oil arbitrage last year, Elon is now naming Mukesh Ambani while fact is none of the players have so far got commercial license and security clearance.

Jio, One Web by Airtel and Starlink all are waiting in line. This sudden outburst of Elon against India is managed by White House. I would anyday trust Jio & Airtel over Starlink having my data and causing chaos just like it did in Iran & Ukraine in regime change ops. Americans are really pissed off with India.
