I have been a black coffee drinker for years. No sugar. No milk. Just coffee in its simplest form.
At least three times a day, and not in small cups either.
Proper 350 ml mugs that you hold with both hands, letting the warmth settle in before the day begins.
Last year, after summer, I switched to Koraput Coffee.
What drew me towards it was its authenticity. It is 100% Arabica, the native variety grown in Odisha, cultivated in the soil and climate of Koraput itself.
Many of us grew up drinking instant blends that contain chicory. Brands such as Bru & Nescafe combine coffee with chicory to maintain affordability and a certain flavour profile. There is nothing wrong with that.
But pure Arabica feels different.
The aroma rises gently into the morning air before the first sip. It reaches your senses cleanly, without heaviness. Just that honest, unmistakable fragrance filling the room.
For the past few days, however, I have had none.
The jar at home ran out and I simply did not find the time to visit their store.
And that is when it struck me.
In a world where we can order almost anything within minutes through e-commerce & quick-commerce apps, why is something grown in our own soil still not easily available across our own state?
If it were just a tap away on our regular grocery apps, I would not have missed a single morning.
It is strange how something from the hills of Koraput can quietly become part of your daily rhythm. And stranger still that we sometimes have to step out of our way to find what already belongs to us.
Perhaps some things should not remain this difficult to reach.

Animals mate based on impulse, dominance, urge.
There is no concept of loyalty, vows, or moral responsibility there.
So when humans act purely from impulse or in other words boredom, fun etc. without thought for commitment or consequence, it is similar.
If someone is acting only from boredom, ego validation, or thrill seeking, then it is a regression to a lower layer of the mind.
Spiritually, this is a downward pull. Consciousness becomes more body centred & less soul aware.
The person begins to live only for stimulation.
In our tradition, naraka is not just a place after death. It is actually a state of consciousness.
When the mind is trapped in uncontrolled craving, constant dissatisfaction, and emotional chaos, that itself is a lower realm.
Karma does not punish. It binds.
If you repeatedly act from lust without responsibility, you create karmic cords with many people.
Their pain becomes connected to you.
Their expectations, their emotions, their brokenness all enter your field.
Over time, a person feels drained and confused without knowing why.
US & China are the two largest economies in the world, but does India have an edge in terms of growth?
US growth is heavily dependent on just one sector, AI. Chinese growth is heavily dependent on energy transition technologies like EVs. Behind these star sectors, the economies are struggling.
India has much more broad based growth and even more potential. Our production from manufacturing can grow by 10x. Our resources sector can grow by 20x. Services sectors like tourism and education also have massive growth potential.
All we need is to deregulate and trust our young entrepreneurs to drive us on the expressway of growth. This is India's time.

As we mark the 100th birth anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba today, I am reminded of the peace and purpose his teachings have brought into so many lives, including mine.
Attending the centenary celebrations a few days ago filled me with deep gratitude.
His words continue to guide us every day, they calm us during tough times and give us hope. 🙏🏻
Offering my humble pranams at the Divine Lotus Feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on His 100th Birthday. May His message of love, service and compassion continue to guide and inspire us always🙏🙏
There is One who governs the world and it is His task to look after it. He who has given life to the world knows how to look after it also. He bears the burden of this world, not you.
Now, I will ask you a question.
When a man gets into a train, where does he put his luggage? He doesn't carry it on his head or in his lap while on the train?
It is a thousand times more foolish to bear your own burden once you have undertaken the spiritual quest, whether by the path of knowledge or devotion.
The Lord of the universe bears the whole burden. You only imagine that you do. You can handover all your burdens to Him.

Speaking at the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi. His service to society and teachings guide generations towards a more compassionate world. https://t.co/6ShlSNYt4i
I feel deeply honoured to have released a commemorative coin and postal stamp dedicated to Sri Sathya Sai Baba on the occasion of his birth centenary celebrations.
Paid homage to Sri Sathya Sai Baba at the Sai Kulwant Hall, Prasanthi Nilayam and went to Omkar Hall for Darshan. Being in these sacred spaces is a reminder of his boundless compassion and lifelong commitment to uplifting humanity. His message of selfless service continues to guide and inspire millions.
I look forward to being among my sisters and brothers of Andhra Pradesh tomorrow, 19th November to participate in the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi. His life and efforts towards community service and the spiritual awakening of society remain a guiding light for generations. I have had various opportunities to interact with him and learn from him over the years. Here are some glimpses from our interactions...

On a school trip to a paralysis-care centre, 16-year-old Pranet Khetan watched patients struggle to form words they knew perfectly in their minds.
That moment changed everything.
Back home, the Class 11 student from Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon, began tinkering — soldering circuits, collecting audio samples, and coding deep learning models from scratch.
Most speech-assist devices in the market work only in English. For Pranet, accessibility in Indian languages wasn’t optional; it was personal.
Months of failed prototypes and sleepless nights later, he built Paraspeak — an AI-powered device that converts slurred speech from stroke, cerebral palsy or Parkinson’s patients into clear Hindi in real time.
And it costs less than ₹2,000.
“I wanted it to be something families in small towns could afford, not just big hospitals,” he told India Today.
The result was global recognition at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair 2025, where Paraspeak stood out for merging empathy with innovation.
Pranet is now working to expand it to Bengali, Tamil and other Indian languages — so no voice goes unheard, no matter the language.
Because sometimes, giving someone their words back is the greatest invention of all.

RIP James D. Watson, co-discoverer of DNAs double helix🥇Jim was a kind & generous mentor to me, who never hesitated to meet, give feedback, or share stories from the early days of molecular biology. His signed double helix hangs in my office as a reminder how one discovery can change the world 🙏
AI story till now. It is still unfolding.
AI is a very useful technology and will change life transformationally in next few years and decades. It will generate substantial productivity gains in most areas like electricity, telecom or IT did.
In AI, Large US companies and Government of US tried to project it as a matter of large investments rather than use of brains. Extremely Costly hardware, trillion dollar models etc were to some extent part of the hype, awe and shock model US adopts to control most new technologies to keep small countries and small companies out.
In last 3 years since ChatGPT started, it was a constant reminder every day that countries like China are enemies because they also have AI capabilities they built over last twenty years using government planning and coordination.
It was also projected that Countries like India are losers is AI field - because they are neither like US which can spend trillions of USD or are like china where government capabilities of to direct investments and efforts are immense.
AI field has been changing fast and becoming democratised every day. Democratisation of technology brings down costs of new technologies with each passing day. The AI tech waves are coming faster at a pace that no one is able to control or even comprehend let alone own.
Last few weeks have proved that much more effective hundreds of open weight AI models coming out of China and other countries don’t require large compute also that has been projected by US AI groups. These Chinese models are being proved to be equal or better in their effectiveness for purpose.
Broadly, the hype, shock and awe part of the US AI story has been punctured substantially in last few weeks. Repercussions will be felt over next several years.
User countries like India would be the beneficiaries. For example, over last 60 years, India didn’t invent computer chips, most computer languages, databases, network equipments etc. Despite that India has been one of the winners of the IT race in the world over last several decades.
I am becoming more confident that India will be the biggest winner of AI race as the most adaptive country for Informarion technology in next 20-30 years. Indian policy makers, organisations and individuals will have to work hard, coordinate and make the best out of this extremely fast evolving situation.
Next race is already building up. Robotics between US and China. How do we get prepared and how do we combine Robotics with AI to be the biggest beneficiaries of this new fast moving race needs to be thought through.
My body & voice have been replicated without permission to make money. If don't want to live in a world where you can't tell real health info from fake, like or retweet this
So let me get this straight : Indians are constantly targeted online, called “visa freeloaders
Yet the data shows 🇮🇳 Indian-origin households have the lowest welfare dependency in the entire United States just 4.4% on food stamps, lower than any other ethnic group.
No bailouts. No handouts. Just brains, work ethic, and contribution.
It’s time to stop hating success and start admiring discipline.
The numbers don’t lie , merit works.

Whatever you hold inside, you slowly become that.
If you keep hate, jealousy, fear within you, they burn you from inside like a half-lit fire; never letting you live in peace, never letting you burn fully and be free. Only suffering remains.
Always choose to bring in what is positive. Embrace compassion, faith, and good intent. That inner light protects you and guides you.
