As per timeline of #Ethiopa's peace deal, a meeting of military Commanders convened in Nairobi, where former Pres. Uhuru stated, “We started in Pretoria…now in Nairobi, we're very hopeful that next time we'll be in Mekelle & ultimately celebrate together in Addis Ababa.”

#Happening_Now: The Embassy has officially begun a 2-day briefing session for the diplomatic community in Djibouti, with the goal of providing a hands-on understanding of #CoHA, the progress made thus far & a path forward to reconstruct & rehabilitate conflict-affected regions.

The diplomatic breakthrough of the #AU-brokered peace deal was heralded on session 2 of #CoHA briefing to the diplomatic community based in #Djibouti. A thorough examination of the implementation & the seamless execution of duties in accordance with the agreement were addressed.

Delighted to welcome, Dr. Rowaid A., the newly appointed #Palestine Ambassador to #Djibouti, to my office. The Ambassador extended a heartwarming congratulation to the people and Gov't of #Ethiopia on the signing of #CoHA. We agreed to work together on issues of mutual concern.

It gives me great joy when i congratulate Hon. Solomon Areda Waktolla, Deputy Chief Justice of the Federal Supreme Court of #Ethiopia, on his appointment by #UNGA as a half-time judge of the #UN Dispute Tribunal (2023-2030). His expertise will be a significant asset to the UN.
