Hon’ble @FinMinIndia @IncomeTaxIndia, it is humbly requested to extend the Tax Audit due date for AY 2026-27 from 30.09.2026 to 31.10.2026.

Tax professionals are presently facing heavy pressure due to overlapping statutory compliances, finalisation of accounts, GST/TDS reconciliations, AIS/26AS verification and other audit-related responsibilities. Tax Audit requires detailed checking and proper reporting, which should not be compromised due to severe time constraints.

A one-month extension will help taxpayers and professionals ensure accurate, complete and quality compliance and will reduce avoidable hardship during the peak filing season.

ऊपर से फरमान—“समय तो पूरा एक महीना है!”
Auditor बोला—“हुज़ूर, इसीलिए तो छूटा पसीना है!”

Audit में Quality भी चाहिए, Deadline भी है Tension,
30 दिन में दोनों चाहिए, तो CA को चाहिए Extension!

लेकिन बीमारी मरीज की होती है, इलाज तो डॉक्टर को ही करना होता है।

बस यहाँ भी यही कहानी है—
समस्या व्यापारियों की हो सकती है, लेकिन 30 दिनों में उसका समाधान Tax Auditors को ही करना है।

Why is the filing data not being disclosed, along with a comparison with the corresponding period last year? @IncomeTaxIndia

I believe the number of TARs filed so far is well below 20% of the total expected filings.
