@liferjuicelauri@DavidDaraskevi1@ZipPatriot Just as much as you needed my MOS check my name!!! LOVED my Marines no one else I would have ever wanted to serve with. Spent the vast majority of my time in service with the Marines!!!
@RealityJunkie_@WEdwarda@TMZ I'm a Govie contractor who works remotely I have NEVER mer any of my co-workers in person in the 11yrs I've been on this project and they tried to force me to take the Jab under threat of being fired. Luckily as a sub contractor working remotely my company approved my exemption!!
Things civilians do that irritate veterans:
- Asking invasive questions like “Did you kill anyone?”
- Sharing “I almost joined, but…” excuses
- Overusing or making “Thank you for your service” feel forced
- Calling all service members “soldiers” (ignoring branch differences)
- Assuming they know a random person who also served
- Complaining about minor everyday hardships (long hours, waking up early, etc.)
- Being chronically late or lacking basic punctuality/discipline
- Stereotyping veterans as broken, violent, or unstable
- Armchair-quarterbacking wars or military decisions
- Misunderstanding or judging dark military humor
- Treating military skills as useless in civilian jobs
