गेल्या काही वर्षांत त्यांनी शिक्षण क्षेत्रात घेतलेले ऐतिहासिक निर्णय देश कधीही विसरू शकणार नाही...

✅ भारताच्या खऱ्या इतिहासाला उजाळा : वर्षानुवर्षे दबावाखाली राहिलेला आपला गौरवशाली इतिहास त्यांनी पुन्हा जिवंत केला. मुघलांचा इतिहास मागे सारून मराठा, चोळ, मौर्य यांसारख्या महान राजघराण्यांना आणि देश भक्तांच्या बलिदानाला पाठ्यपुस्तकांत योग्य स्थान दिले. "योग्य इतिहास, योग्य शिक्षण!" हा विचार त्यांनी प्रत्यक्षात आणला. 🚩

✅ मातृभाषेतून शिक्षणाचा हक्क : भाषेच्या अभावामुळे कोणत्याही गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्याचे नुकसान होऊ नये, यासाठी NEET, JEE आणि CUET सारख्या राष्ट्रीय परीक्षा मराठीसह तब्बल १२ भारतीय भाषांमध्ये उपलब्ध करून दिल्या. इंजिनिअरिंगचे शिक्षणही मातृभाषेत आणण्याचे क्रांतिकारी काम त्यांनी केले.

✅ शिक्षणाचे आधुनिकीकरण : NEP 2020 च्या माध्यमातून ३४ वर्षांनंतर शिक्षण पद्धतीत मोठा बदल केला. ​१३,००० हून अधिक 'पीएम श्री' शाळा उभारून ग्रामीण भागातील मुलांना आधुनिक शिक्षणाची दारे उघडी करून दिली.

पण जेव्हा परिस्थिती अत्यंत संवेदनशील बनली, तेव्हा देशविरोधी शक्तींना राजकीय फायदा उठवू न देता आणि विद्यार्थ्यांचे नुकसान होऊ नये यासाठी त्यांनी अत्यंत नम्रतेने राजीनामा देऊन जबाबदारीचे आणि आदर्शाचे नवे उदाहरण निर्माण केले.
