@truculentfangs ||: it's oddly fitting and that scares me...

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

||: have y'all listened to the audio in my pinned's edit?

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

@CHAlNG4NG ||: omg no, my dms are always open for replies when people get limited… and i have a discord where we could rp too if you ever want.

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

— anyone else... but who would of thought, those fuckers thought of that too... "

another reaction of pain as eyes closed, a hiss as that one was more painful than the last, " i'm a victim too, sure but. . . fuck, it's my own damn fault, isn't it? i just want to be me again. "

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

" you don't think i'm pissed? that i'm angry beyond words? but it's been years, man... they've controlled me for half of that! "

there's a soft exhale, another wince, looking away, " i've taken out on myself, taken it out on others... tried to take myself out so i didn't hurt —

he doesn't even know her name. he doesn't know shit except fairfax was involved.

" and when i talk about it... i feel like... . . . it doesn't matter. it just... doesn't matter. i'm stuck for now. i'm stuck. don't worry about me, okay? i'll get my karma one day too... "

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

there's a wince as the mailbox is kicked down, a soft exhale to calm her nerves... it wasn't the first time that someone had assumed her wearing the fairfax name on her employee badge meant that she followed them...

but this time it was worse.

this time, she was stuck under —

despite her being an employee of fairfax, seems very clear that she knows it's shit and hearing they tricked her like that? oh, it makes his blood boil.

“ those sneaky, rotten FUCKS. the fact they'd do that shit?? MAN. ”

kicks over a mailbox. oh. okay.

there's a weak smile at him now, " i'm working on it... but it's not that easy. they tell me a command, i do it... not me... my body. "

glancing away, " kill this person, hide this incident... "

a soft exhale, a clear wince, as though talking about hurt her, —

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

— actually... i'll probably stay at the baroness after. i still don't trust my apartment after i found those weird listening devices... "

a palm gently moved to rub at her forehead as though trying to comfort away a headache.

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

" i want that man dead, " it was murmured softly, however impossible it was... samara wanted nothing more than maximilian's head now. eyes opened as the other pulled away finally.

instantly, she missed that comfort but... she didn't want to be desperate or show herself as —

even if she had wanted to find another lawyer, someone who wouldn't blur lines and boundaries of whatever they had... who could she trust? most of the people in the city were in fairfax's pocket.

" dinner sounds... very nice, —

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

words trailed off, " it doesn't matter. i know i'm horrible, okay? you don't have to rub it in. "

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

there's a scoff from her, " wouldn't i know it better than anyone else? "

a glance over at the stranger, trying to calm her nerves, " i'm in a pact with them... not willingly. they hid it in regular employee paperwork. "

palms gently rub her eyes afterwards, giving a frown —

ugh, you know fairfax is just bleedin' new york dry, right @devilsado? that place is nothin' more than lies and shady business wrapped up in a corporate bow.

[ᅠᅠTHE SANGUINAᅠᅠ @devilsado]

" am i doing good? "

it was asked softly, " i swear the commands are getting stronger... each time i fight them, the worse it is. "
