A cleanup in Reckong Peo - Kinnaur with a very supportive local community

Along with it in last 3 months every house is covered to segregate the solid waste - 1185 houses are now segregating

Next step is to rebuild the MRF, streamline the solid waste for recycling

Close to 10000 vehicles entered Atal tunnel during long weekend

Two small villages Sissu & Khoksar currently enjoying the max benefit but the amount of trash left behind is a cause of concern

Unless & until as a community if we aren’t worried nothing is going to change

Our waste management facility in the village Khoksar will be operational from mid April 2024

No EPR (extended producers responsibility) or carbon credit

Hardly any corporates to collaborate for CSR

This time help should come from top as no one is ready to amend decade old habits

Restarted Manali waste segregation door to door

In the first attempt we failed but this time the results are promising

With absolute support from Municipal council Manali on the ground

Manali will become 100% waste segregating community
