@dasjy0tirmay Don't need any more batter....a good Indan Quick and a quality spinner since Kuldeep is not there.
Ngidi, Starc (if available) and Axar are the only quality bowlers. Without them DC failed to defend 264.

@Kunal_KLR DC picking captains of LSG. So who is the next captain of LSG...??
Tbh, never wanted DC to trade KD, him with Axar was a good spin combination.
DC should have released some of its pacers to accommodate Pant, if reqd.
DC needed good fast bowlers, now also need a good spinner.

@shubh_chintak Add to that the possibility of Starc being not available next year due to workload management, BG 5 test, one off Ashes, then ODI WC later that year.

@FORREALDC Starc might not be available next year due to Ashes and BG trophy...just before IPL and then ODI WC...so need a good overseas quick also. Else bowling will be without Starc and KD...and none of the other bowlers are capable of taking wickets except Ngidi and Axar.

@ABXD_DC I would have loved KD at Delhi coz him with Axar was a good combination for spin bowling. Left arm wrist spin is a rare commodity....now Vippi will have to take up this role. Good thing is he can bat too.

@sinha7605 if DC wants RP back in squad, best chance is to lock him in trade...Auction dynamics is a different beast altogether. Then the question is who do DC release to get RP in squad, he is at 27.5cr at LSG and also what are the retention option next Year. KL, RP, Axar, Madhav, Stubbs?

@trustinstubbs30 Nattu 10.75 Cr, Mukesh 8Cr, Aquib 8.4Cr, Pathum 4Cr - Thats 32 Cr for one Indian opener slot and one Indian Fast bowler. Can get two of Aquib, nattu & Mukesh cheaply in Auction. Retain KL, Stubbs, Madhav, Ashutosh and Axar in mega Auction (5 batsmen, 2 bowlers, 1wk).

No other unit is struggling with Indian pacers....Mumbai maybe..!!

@bhaleraosarang DC won 5 out of 7 away games which usually top teams do...so its not a bad team...sometimes it feels like Kotla is cursed ground for DC..!!

@ABXD_DC It's a shame that a team that wins 5 out of 7 away matches does not qualify. Winning away matches is considered gold in IPL and out team won more matches in Away matches than home matches. If a team wins 5 away matches, they are usually at the top of the table. Boycott Kotla!!
