LeBron says he didn't know what a pantry was until high school:
“I went to my high school coach's house and I asked him, ‘Can I get a snack or some chips?’ He was like, ‘Yeah, just go in the pantry.’ I'm like, ‘What the f**k is the pantry?’ Where I grew up, everything is on top of the refrigerator… That was my motivation right there. I'm like I got to give my mama a pantry.”

@Deimos272 They controlled every game besides game 2. Slightly better execution in the final 4 minutes of each game could’ve easily made it a 4-1 spurs series win
Jalen Brunson should be an eye-opener for NBA Draft discussion:
- evaluate skills, not draft age
- the mid-range matters
- size isn’t an end all, be all
- dribble, pass, shoot
- winning matter
A key to winning is being able to make smart adjustments in the middle of series, games, timeouts, etc.
Mitch Johnson has not figured that out. This series reminds me a lot of how Joe Mazzulla was outcoached by the Knicks in 2025
Mike Brown shares a simple but powerful definition of winning in life.
"Even if you don't have the quote unquote ultimate success that you think you deserve - if you get knocked down in life and you're able to get back up and keep fighting - that's a fricking win."
"Most of our guys have probably had to go through that. But I think most people in the world have to go through it."
Success isn't always the result - sometimes it's just refusing to stay down.
It's choosing to endure, get back up, and keep fighting.
Successful people are relentless.
