Hydrangea in summer outside our home.
I've always been in awe of these incredible blue flowers that change colour apparently according to the acidity of the soil or the water.

Completed one side in colours and then started the other page in pen and ink. It was not intended to be one cohesive sketch but two separate ones when I was drawing it but I think it also reads well like as one because its the extension of the same landscape. What do you think?

There are times, in a group, when everyone is doing their own thing, and I can take out my sketchbook and draw without feeling left out. The lovely part is when the kids around me join in. I always carry extra paper and crayons.

Nothing has been more iconic in this city—and I dare say, perhaps in all of North America in the lead-up to the FIFA World Cup—than the geodesic dome at Science World transformed into a giant soccer ball.

This Sunday brought a historic win for Canada, and we couldn't miss the celebrations. Granville Street, was chaotic, energized, and absolutely beautiful. Thousands of fans filled the streets in red shirts and for a few hours the city felt united by pure joy.

Still reeling from the awesome USK Sketch Weekend! As part of the Urban Sketchers Vancouver @usk.vancouver admin team, I had the privilege of being involved in the planning and behind-the-scenes work that brought the event to life.

Meetup at Brentwood Mall. I chose to draw the Soon Cafe and people standing in line for coffee. Drawings cafes in quite fun and dynamic. I loved drawing the detailed menu and getting the colour palette of pink and purple in. It's lovely to draw with the usk community.

Another Baithak at a lovely Sunday afternoon and so much beautiful music. This has been a great practice ground for me for figure drawing and loose sketches without getting lost in details. I didn't have my usual materials so I used Caran Dache crayons I found in my bag.

Lovely meetup hosted by @mkcharls for @usk.vancouver. It was rainy day and the best view to sketch was from the Gene Coffee bar. Looking outside was the Goh Ballet Academy @gohballet which is an old ballet school.

Lonsdale Quay Meetup I hosted for #uskvancouver last month. It was a perfect sunny day but very cold. So had to draw quickly before my fingers froze.
