I am a sophisticated and outgoing woman. I work hard so that I can enjoy life. I am a woman of many talents and I try to use them to the best of my ability.
You don't have to look for limiting beliefs, they arise through positive action
I was jogging topless in the rain at 40 Degrees (4 Celsius) the other day. I hear my mom's voice from the distant past.
"Child, you're going to catch a cold!"
I hear the TVs voice:
"Doctors say the most common cause of colds are cold combined with moisture"
I jog on and hear my father's voice echoing from long forgotten times:
"Definition of an imbecile is someone who doesn't have the sense to get out of the pouring rain".
(Forgive your parents for they know not what they do)
I take note of these beliefs arising from the depths of my subconscious. I think "nah". And that's it.
A simple "nah".
I arrive home. Did I get a cold? Nah. Sniffing? Nah. Cough? Nah.
Most self-improvement systems are based on digging for or looking for "limiting beliefs". Mainstream therapy is even worse: You talk of nothing other than negative past stuff and then you get administered drugs to suppress the pain of focusing on it for so long.
None of that is necessary. Make positive intentions and take positive actions - and whatever stands in the way will arise by itself. The mere recognition of a thought-form as thought-form, a belief as belief rather than "the way things are" neutralizes the mental construct and stop harassing you from the dusty storehouse of the subconscious. Then you renounce it. In my case the renunciation was a simple "nah".
🚨BREAKING: Herschel Walker was just confirmed by the Senate to be US Ambassador to the Bahamas, he will be the first confirmed Ambassador to the Bahamas since 2011.
This was straight trash…You help feen into the negativity of bashing black woman. Your take on black culture is terrible. But you said it yourself.. you didn’t have to deal with American racism, but you speak on it as you know. I hate that you feel you were needed as a spokesperson on culture conversation. Cause you are not needed. Stick to talking about the X and O’s of sports.
@EmmanuelAcho@SpeakOnFS1 I have never seen or heard so much racism and disrespectful comments towards any other NCAA player ever like I have heard and seen towards her...really shocked to hear another Blk man denying or ignoring this young Black woman's hurtful experiences and truth. This is disgusting.
15 years ago today, I asked you to believe in the change we could create together—and you did. I’m so proud of our Obama alumni, many of whom we saw this week, for carrying that mission forward.
