Completing your VCE or VCAL is a major achievement in any year. But no one should underestimate just how big an accomplishment it was in 2020.
Professor John Hattie onChristchurch earthquake...Schools were closed for weeks and most students did not have ...online learning or discussion with teachers. Results did not suffer and high school students did not drop out; performance actually went up in the final exams.
Schools are probably going to look pretty different this year, but we’re not sure why our main man from @DETVic, @devine_michael thought this would require him to dress up like an airline pilot. ✈️

My new school Monterey SC has just finalised this partnership w.@stkildafc to build a sport science program like no other. Very excited to be joining the team and working towards some outstanding outcomes next year. https://t.co/rZaMB24BVV with @paul4frankston@devine_michael
I’ve just had my first article published. Actually, first anything published. I’m really excited about it. Great support from @john_hattie, and the editorial team @AusJournalEd - huge learning curve and I’m a better teacher, school leader and consumer of research as a result. 😀
Recently in Sydney Dr @GowingAnnie from @unimelb presented her impressive research on Wellbeing & Social/Emotional Learning to @AusSchoolsPlus teaching Fellows. Today Annie visited @BelleVueParkPS to hear about our journey & to offer her insights. How cool is that! Thanks Annie.
