Elon Musk says technological progress isn’t guaranteed.

Civilizations can advance, stagnate, and even lose capabilities they once had.https://t.co/zs5r6M2Rel

He points to the Moon landing, the Space Shuttle era, ancient Egypt and Rome as examples of how progress can be lost without continued effort.

“Technology… only improves if a lot of people work very hard to make it better.”

Progress has to be maintained.

I had the privilege of speaking with @elonmusk this week.

He shared his vision for satellites that deliver internet to every corner of the world, rockets that capture solar energy in space and send it back to Earth, and even moving data centers off the planet.

The vision is extraordinary. But what sets Elon and his team apart is how they execute -- they find a way to make it happen.

I can’t wait to see where this vision takes us next. 🚀

This is so resembling of how my perception has been shaped through time. I’ve been shaped too be at the sides of those perceived as above me, at any cost. Is this a habit that I want to get rid of?
