I don't usually feel emotional reading research articles but the case example in this one is pretty cool. This SPACE treatment appears to be an effective intervention for addressing anxiety and OCD. https://t.co/o7F4tH50qF
Little late to this but great BYU devotional talk by @RyanGabriel_1 about racism and how to combat it. Every LDS member (and every person TBH) should watch or read this. https://t.co/WSL1wTAhmU
@GovCox@utahjazz Thanks @SpencerJCox for 1) not stepping into the affairs of the @utahjazz and 2) advocating for students of color who have been the recipients of institutionalized oppression and racism.
Saying culturally insensitive things doesn't necessarily mean you're racist (though racist people do say culturally insensitive things). We should be able to recognize the harm of our words/actions, apologize, & repair harm. Your intent may be good but focus on impact.
@LeanneHawken just made me aware of the distance learning PBIS strategies available on https://t.co/ntAGCYPk0t The e-resource seems especially helpful to classrooms/schools engaged in distance learning. Thanks Leanne.

@KSLcom Having had the pleasure of working with Shannon many times as a sped director and superintendent, I concur with this selection. Great asset to the students and educators of Iron County.
For schools using SWIS for office referrals, there's a new equity report coming soon. Should be helpful in identifying disparities in response to certain sub-populations (race, gender, SPED, EL). https://t.co/ReESEXjYzb
While most people I know recognize racism, sexism, and other '-isms' are bad, there are subtle ways that one might unintentionally offend. Microaggressions can be demeaning or offensive to say the least. https://t.co/YoaeQoM0A4
VICTORY! A federal court has ruled that Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos and the U.S. Department of Education cannot divert desperately needed money away from public schools and into private schools!
Use the Good Behavior Game to teach and reinforce students for engaging in COVID safety practices: https://t.co/pt59N23Zmw. Check out this and other helpful videos on physical health and SEL, from the U of U's and Granite District's Behavior Response Support Team.
Check out this video of DR @LeanneHawken presenting on how to do Check-In, Check-Out (CICO) in a virtual school setting. Great application of the intervention to keep regular content with students who may need additional connection and support. https://t.co/xHRjJw9cr9
