I think teachers are at their best, not when they are delivering a brilliantly innovative lesson... but when they are demonstrating patience and compassion toward a student who is struggling.
@SydneyE_teach@PrinceEa I think it is important to realize that there is a difference in someone who is smart and someone who scores better. A test is one day and there are a lot of things that go into how well you’re going to do on a test. #EEC301S19
Very moving video by @PrinceEa. There is so potential in every student! A true education is about learning how to learn, helping students learn to connect the dots. #EEC301S19
@MsAyresCares Teachers can have a huge impact on their students. A lot of their time is spent with you and it is so important that you have positive relationships with them.
@leightonteaches I think having a twitter account to talk to parents is a good idea. Social media is how a lot of people communicate and to just put reminders and things like that on twitter is a good idea. #EEC301S19
@TluttT It is a great idea to help connect families to the community. It is important for families to be able to keep up to date with their children and to be aware of what is going on in the community.
The most valuable things that teachers do will probably never show up on an evaluation. They will probably never be reflected on test scores.

I appreciate teachers... and all those 1 on 1 conversations they have with their students.
A3: My biggest take away from ch.3 is the importance of having relationships with your students. Building relationships with your students and their families builds trust and will help you know how to teach them best. #EEC301S19
A2: I would use twitter to connect with my community and families by sharing updates about my class and to share what is going on in the community. #EEC301S2019
A1: I would use twitter to get ideas and keep up to date with what is going on in the field of education. It is also a great way to connect with people from all over. #EEC301S19
