"Life is a Video Game, These Are the Cheat Codes" is the latest video from @markmanson .
It's a 1/10 with a much higher CTR than usual. Here are some concepts that got cut at various points of development, but ultimately led us to the final image.

Ahh well ๐
So sad to hear about VidCon Baltimore getting cancelled this year.
I was really excited to be speaking alongside my coworkers @CisforWimps and @olinacavedoni about how we make our content.
One of my core beliefs is to always provide more value than what you're getting paid for... so on my recent visit to LA,
I mentioned to Mark that I was quietly repurposing his website articles into YouTube scripts. The goal was to
reduce his workload to one hour per video.
I would hand him a script that he could revise and record all in one go. Then I would edit the video and build the packaging until it was ready for his final review. Admittedly,
he still needed to spend more than an hour on this one,
- revising the script
- reviewing more than just the final edit
- reviewing the thumbnail
- recording an additional voiceover
but,
it was a step in the right direction to freeing up his time for bigger priorities like the podcast or our heavier lift longform videos.
Thank you @markmanson for trusting me with your incredible writing.
And thank you to @thumbnailgrail for an excellent collaboration on the thumbnail.
I'm quite proud of this one, and I hope you enjoy it too :)
So sad to see Big Brother come to an end. I've always felt super lucky to have started my career working on such an impressive production.
I have nothing but fond memories of the cast and crew, including that one sneaky DJ cameo I made during the frat party in season 6 ๐ป
To our BBCAN Fam,
It's the end of an era as we say goodbye after 12 incredible seasons.
Season after season, each group of Houseguests delivered their own unique dynamic and iconic moments that we will never forget. But most of all, we are so thankful to have been able to go on this journey with you, the incredible Big Brother Canada fans.
THANK YOU for 12 beautiful seasons ๐
I have been sitting on that Burger King B-Roll for SO long and I'm suuuuuper happy I finally got to put it to good use ๐๐
