5/ Freebie culture became the easiest political tool to win elections by any means, keep people dependent, and avoid difficult reforms. Meanwhile, citizens are taxed on almost everything while the middle class keeps getting squeezed harder every year.
4/ Somewhere along the way, India lost the courage to question those in power. Questioning the govt. started being treated as opposing the nation itself. The people elected to serve started behaving more like rulers beyond accountability. Democracy becoming blur day by day.
3/
Too much theatre, optics, branding and cosmetic work. Too little real structural work on the ground. Narratives and agendas became more important than governance. People within the country were pushed into fighting each other while core issues stayed unresolved,
2/
A political party is supposed to fight elections. A government job is supposed to govern the nation. But for the last 10–12 years, the main focus appears to have been winning elections by way any means whether it sets a wrong precedents in the long term for the nation.

Don’t know if anyone noticed or not, but India seems to have run out of true visionary leaders and statesmen over the last decade. What we mostly have now are election managers and netas.
GSTR-1 की Due Date आते ही....
Portal fail कर दो...
Upload किए invoices भी 2B में नहीं दिखेंगे...
Recipients परेशान... हर बार वही कहानी।
GSTR-3B की Due Date आए...
Portal फिर fail कर दो..
Tax payment अटक जाएगी,...
लेकिन Interest और Late Fees पूरे लगाओ...
हर बार वही कहानी।
Ticket raise
Shame on you @Infosys_GSTN
Now issue in captcha & GSTR1 also. Grievance filed for 1 RTP with 4 screenshots vide G-202604203762255. surprisingly, portal is also not allowing to download grievance, need to identify the number by using search criteria as per enclosed screenshot. @Infosys_GSTN@FinMinIndia
The GST portal has been glitching for 4–5 days. Returns not saving, filings getting stuck, constant errors during peak deadlines. This isn’t a minor bug—it’s disrupting compliance across the country.
Urgent fix or deadline extension needed. #GSTPortal@Infosys_GSTN@FinMinIndia
@Infosys_GSTN Please note that today is not Sunday, but its a Monday and also the due date for making payment and filing of GSTR3B.
Request you to please don't make the tax payers pay Late Fees for no fault of theirs.
Allow portal to work.
@cbic_india@FinMinIndia@PMOIndia
After failing on GSTR-1 due date, the portal is now failing to work on GSTR-3B due date as well.
They need interest as well, not just ITC disallowance in 2B
#GSTN
#GST Portal is not working properly since many days.
➡️Major Time Portal Crash.
➡️Unable to Login.
➡️Unable to save GSTR-3B, payment & proceed-to-file.
Authorities requested to kindly extend the due date of March-26 GSTR-3B at earliest.
@Infosys_GSTN@nsitharaman@cbic_india
RT if agree
Expectation: taxpayers fund expressways 🚀
Reality: GST portal feels like a pothole-filled detour 🛑
On due dates, instead of filing returns, we’re stuck refreshing screens.
@Infosys_GSTN — this isn’t “Digital India,” it’s digital breakdown.
No portal = No compliance
No compliance = No late fees

In my entire professional life as a CA I have never seen such consistent failure of a statutory compliance portal.
Hours of productive time wasted.
Repeated disruptions.
And ultimately mental harassment of taxpayers and professionals.
Perhaps it’s time to seriously examine accountability even through a PIL…
