We're underestimating what's coming.

Anthropic withheld a model capable of finding software vulnerabilities. Meanwhile, we're already seeing Drift-level exploits and Telegram compromises driven by deep social engineering.

The next 6–12 months won't just be more hacks. It'll be better attackers combining both fronts:

- Months-long social engineering. Real relationships, real access.
- "Good enough" exploit tooling in the wrong hands.
- Actors patient enough to wait for the right moment.

This is where it compounds. It's not code or people. It's code x people.

A fake Zoom link. A trusted contact. A small foothold. Once you're in, it's not just you. Your entire network becomes the vector.

Crypto is feeling this first: high ROI, younger infra, weaker opsec. But this isn't a crypto problem. It's just ahead of the curve.
