For me, the biggest benefit of AI coding isn’t just writing code.

As a mobile dev, I’ve lost entire days to build errors, dependency conflicts, SDK upgrades, and configuration issues on both iOS and Android.

Now Codex or Claude Code can inspect the logs, fix the issue, and rebuild in minutes.

Then I copied the images into Codex and used this open-source project as a starting point:

I asked Codex to update it to match the generated images and added drag-and-drop positioning, resizing, rotation, editable text, shadow and glow controls, export previews, and more.

Should I clean it up and open-source the updated project?

I was surprised by how well ChatGPT 5.6 Sol generated my new app screenshots.

Across the conversation, these were the exact instructions I gave:

“Fetch my Google Play app screenshots + do you think my app screenshots can be better? + Just don’t add subtitles; I see most good apps just use a title + I think not all pages should show the full phone picture + generate new images for me.”
